History

Established in 1980.

30+ years and still going strong! Mr. Wade opened his first store in Downtown Harrisonburg in late 1980. In 1992 he moved to South Main St. (Motor Mile) and built a new Lincoln Mercury building. Then in 2002, Mr. Wade purchased the Subaru franchise and erected another new building which is designated to Subaru only. Currently we sell Subaru and Lincoln.

John Wade, the son of Bob Wade, Is now the owner of Bob Wade Subaru and Bob Wade Autoworld. John played 12 years in the NFL at the center position for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders. John has inherited his fathers Old School business approach of honesty and great service. His youth mixes in a fresh New School side of business with technology and energy.
