Worster’s Marine Center

I would highly recommend Worster’s. Definitely for anyone with an older motor — they aren’t shy about handling those jobs! And they are an Evinrude dealer and certified service center. I needed to have some service done on my older Evinrude outboard, and figured this would be easy given that I live in the Sebago Lake area. Nope. I got the runaround from a lot of marinas: «we don’t do that here» or «try so-​and-​so out on Rt. xx» or «we don’t work on older motors» etc. I called Worster’s, and they were immediately helpful. They got me in quickly, the work was done in under a week (in April — which is when everyone is pulling out their boats and looking for various services), they were very flexible, knowledgeable and kind. I value this type of customer service. You can also tell it’s a family run operation, and they treat their customers as if they value their business. Their prices were definitely reasonable, more than fair for the quality of work done. Actually, I was surprised that the bill wasn’t higher! The location is also pretty convenient, out on 35, easy to get to.
I was very happy with my experience here and will definitely be returning to Worster’s for my future needs. I would recommend them to anyone else, especially if you’ve got an older outboard which may be hard to find someone to work on.
