I came here w/my boyfriend on a Sunday morning before church because I usually pass by it while walking around Harrison. It’s a very urban, rustic type café; has the same feeling/tone as Starbucks BUT biggest difference is that they have a lot more breakfast sandwiches than Starbucks. The atmosphere was really nice, but I really wouldn’t come back here because… 1. The prices for food is WAY overpriced, sandwiches range about $ 6-$ 8 for small portions, it’s just expensive for the the type of things they were serving 2. They were obviously not«stocked» well because we asked for a milkshake and they didn’t have anymore ice cream so it basically strawberry milk and we still had to pay the same price as a strawberry milkshake AND the baked goods display were all basically empty, remember this was us being in here on a Sunday morning and not lunch time. Highly doubt it was busy enough for all that food to not be stocked. 3. VERY little selection on drinks, ESPECIALLY cold drinks. It was a hot morning and I would have LOVED to get a frappé or ice tea or something cold other than an icee or milkshake(which wasn’t even available) 4. Portion sizes are EXTREMELY small… there was only 1 option for the milkshake drink and it was $ 4 and $ 0.30 extra for ice cream… the cup was soo small my whole hand can fit around the cup and I’m not even a big girl I’m 5’1″! All in all it was a disappointing visit and I wouldn’t visit again, I would rather go to a Starbucks than this, it’s cheaper, more selections in drinks and decently sized portions for drinks/food. The only thing this place has got that’s nice was it’s nice rustic feel, but otherwise the baristas weren’t all that friendly and don’t strike up conversations while you’re awkwardly standing there. The one girl was nice how she would actually carry the drinks/food to the tables themselves vs waiting in line for it, but it didn’t have that nice homey feel that cafes tend to have.
