Being a long time resident of Harrison I am so happy that we now have a spot like this! Shop may be small in size but the ice cream selection goes beyond and other ice cream chain. Owner is so friendly and very accommodating. My boyfriend and I love walking over on a weeknight and grabbing the homemade ice cream sandwiches. They are also able to customize ice cream flavor in these sandwiches if you call at least 2 hours ahead of time. The Cookie Monster ice cream in the chocolate chip cookie sandwich is great after dinner treat! Bring family and friends along to share in this deliciousness!

Great ice cream and old-​fashioned candy in a nondescript location near Hajime sushi. Chocolate peanut butter ice cream is sublime, with flaky frozen PB and a creamy, rich chocolate base. The soft-​serve chocolate is also rich and creamy and delicious. Friendly service, but limited seating inside (also some outside). Definitely worth a stop!

Murray’s Ice Cream is terrific! I am extremely intolerant of anything that tastes good. I can go there and get the peanut butter and jelly ice! It is so delicious and I don’t get sick! Everyone that works there is very nice and kind. Such a great experience! Thank you Murray’s!

Agree with other reviewers (posted under not recommended) Found owner to be not friendly; she insisted she was right after incorrectly giving us the wrong order. Instead of diplomatically agreeing to make order right took $ 30 and did not even offer to correct the mistake. Went in previously and she was also rude to my kids; ice cream not so great will not be back and advise others to avoid.

I live in Scottsdale Arizona. I travel to Westchester often to visit friends and family. I found this little delightful place. Murray’s Ice Cream. The friendliest place in Harrison. They have a bazillion different flavors and stuff. The kids love it too (haha). I would recommend you try it. Now not later.

Love this place! Friendly, family owned small business. Found this randomly while having drinks in Harrison. Now my boyfriend and I drive from White Plains just for their ice cream! And the BEST ice cream sandwiches. Can recommend the cannoli ice, but definitely ask for a recommendation! They always have exciting new flavors. Haven’t been disappointed yet and never a bad experience. Only problem so far is that the ice cream we take home disappears to quickly!

This place is so cute! LOTS of candy and flavors. GREAT for children. The place is very small and not good for large groups. Wish there was more room inside. The staff is nice and is patient (I always have to try 3+ flavors before I choose). They also have egg creams, which you don’t see too often. Lots of choices if you are lactose intolerant.

Murray’s ice cream shop has to be by far one of the best ice cream I have ever had in my whole life. I have done a lot of traveling throughout the 50 states as well as internationally and this has to be by far the BEST Ice cream I have ever had. The ice cream is so creamy and there are many unique choices to choose from and it even gets better by choosing unique cones. This is definitely something you can’t find anywhere else. Their ices are also great too and have some of the old school candies. The shop is centrally located so convenient for parking. Owners & staff are very friendly and they seem to give back to their local community. Being originally from the 5 boroughs of NYC and now being a resident of Westchester, I must say that you need to make Murray’s Ice Cream shop one of your Bucket List items. It’s probably one of the top best 50 things to do in Westchester. If your a peanut butter fan, try the chocolate peanut butter icecream it’s to die for!

Stopped by with my mother looking for a good Italian Ices and we were impressed. The staff was friendly and nice. The chocolate Italian ice was as delicious as you would get on Arthur Ave. Very chocolatey! Their candy selection as well as their Italian soda collection was extensive. They had gelato and soft serve and outdoor seating for 8 people.

Not sure why I’m giving this place 3 stars. Service was weird and their were 2 many employees crowded behind the tiny counter. Big selection of ices non dairy treats ice cream soft serve and plenty of over priced candy trinkets. My chocolate peanut butter ice cream was very good. Huge turn off was the girl scraping the sides of the Italian ice container for my daughter’s treat. There was a fresh container right in front of us… Overall really cute child friendly shop with a few tables outside. Harrison could use a business other than a nail salon or dry cleaner.

Adorable little place, with a surprisingly wide selection of sweets, sodas, coffee and ice cream/​Italian ice. I am now dairy and gluten free, and Murray’s has a good selection of allergy friendly items to choose from. Not only do these meet my dietary restrictions, they are DELICIOUS! I’m giving them an extra star for the DF/​GF selection. I can’t believe this gem is in my little town… But it’s worth a trip even if you’re not fortunate enough to live nearby. Buy local and support locally made products! Eat at Murray’s!

I just stopped by on a whim because I wanted something cold, and I certainly got more than I expected. This local ice cream parlor has over 30 different flavors, so don’t be fooled when you walk in — take a look at the board, since there are many different options. Milkshakes, ice cream, gelato, and more!
Personally, I have been searching for most of my life to find a good cherry vanilla ice cream that reminds me of my childhood. This has been the closest flavor yet to what I remember, which was great. The woman who helped me had no problem providing me with a cone and a dish, and even suggested the broken up cone bits if I wanted that instead. I like to eat the cone, so I passed, but it was a nice gesture.
