I went here to get a mirror replaced. I was pleased with the price as it was lower than every other place in the area. The business itself is not much to look at but I know that usually doesnt mean much. My issue is that there is no seating area. I stood outside while my repair was being done. If there was a seating area no one told me and 4 employees walked right past me and said Nada. A mechanic was backing a car out of the garage and did not even Tell me he needed me to move. He was backing at an angle and good thing I glanced up. Well there is a slight language barrier… they do not speak too much English. Still I feel like that was rude. The owner walked past me twice while I was sitting/​standing outside. he only approached me after the guy started on my mirror to ask if he told me the price. No good morning… Im thinking «who spit in your bean curds». I will say that every customer that left out of the shop was happy. One lady even hugged the owner. People spoke to me as they were leaving as if they were excited about their car work. Thats why this place gets 3 stars. Personally, I feel if u do awesome work but u make people feel invisible then I cant come back. I dont need the red carpet, a hello will do just fine.

I have been a loyal customer of this hidden gem of an auto repair shop for almost 10 years. Wayne has taken superb care of my Hondas and Toyotas, although he also works on all European and American cars – luxury or not. My brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, friends and customers all go to Wayne for inspections, small and large jobs, body/​paint work as well as car emergencies.
This is a small shop in Harrisburg located right of 19^th Street and 83. I usually drop the car off in the morning before work and pick it up after work – my work is always done right the first time. You can also wait for your car, if you would like – don’t expect a glitzy waiting room, this is a working garage.
Wayne is absolutely honest and will let you know what has to be done immediately as well as what can wait. He always calls for authorization to do more (after the job begins), so you will not have a big surprise when you pick up your vehicle. When you are tired of being overcharged at the dealerships, stop by Wayne’s – they always stand by their work. If you also need auto detailing, ask Wayne for a referral – he will give you the name of one of the best in the area!
