Decent economically priced food for your family. Formerly the Fox’s markets up until the early 2000’s. This location sells a lot of Spanish and Hispanic items, brands you might recognize are Goya, Jumex, Ssips, Takis, Tropical, & Badia spices. Other brands are private label, such as everyday essential, bar-s or pricerite. Some items are not cheap, such as soup(same as Karns or Giant or Weis). You can buy Armour brand ‘lunchables’ for .99 cents, vs. the Kraft ones for $ 2.19(if not on sale — ouch!), a small 2 piece package of flan sets you back $ 1.49. Veggies are fresh, and you can find much more variety(such as plantains, cactus leaf, turnips, cilantro) The Lusitania Portuguese style bread is a favorite in our household. Accepts cash, credit, ebt. Plenty of parking, usually a fair crowd when I’m there. Like Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, they have some low prices & variety. One wierd thing is they charge .10 cents per plastic bag, so please be sure to use your re-usable tote! File under: #budgetfriendly

Great prices on some things, other things are the same price as most stores. If you care to look for the best deals on things, but don’t mind the inconvenience of going to another store for the items PriceRite doesn’t carry, you can definitely save some money.

Price Rite is not a Giant or a Wegman’s. What it is is a discount supermarket and this it does very well. Its key features are a great produce section(cheap and much better than Giant’s), basic groceries at cheap prices and a lot of ethnic foods. If you are looking for organic, fresh seafood and all name brands, go elsewhere, I buy what I can find here. After that I head to Giant to get the things Price Rite doesn’t carry. With the economy the way it is, I have noticed more and more non-Hispanic people shopping here, especially a lot of senior citizens. And, honestly, I am happy not to have to search through 80 boxes of cereal to find one I like. This place is simple and there are very few pricey temptations to bust the budget. Check it out!

awesome place if you aren’t picky about name brands! they have decent amount of name brands. a cart full costs me about $ 80 compared to $ 130 at walmart and $ 300 at giant… if you need to save some pennies this is the place!

I really really don’t like PriceRite. The place is like an old warehouse full of aisles of boxed junk food. It’s actually kind of a depressing store. However, if you stick to the outer aisles all the way around, you can find some good prices on fresh vegetables(nothing organic, tho’) and some seafood. The only reason I upgraded this rating from 2 stars to 3 stars(I would give it another star for this but the store really doesn’t deserve 4 stars) is because they have Halal meat. It’s a small section but it’s in the back along the outer wall, and is clearly marked. They regularly have halal wings, breasts, and some beef(steaks and cubed). I’ve also seen free-range lamb there, but not sure if it’s halal or not, but it’s right there in that section. If you don’t want to pay an extra 10 cents per bag at the checkout, take your own bags or carry the stuff out in your hands to the car. Otherwise, they’ll charge ya.
