Hop & Shop Party and Play

Unfortunately this place closed down. It was the main attraction for me and the kiddos at Colonial Park Mall. We had also had one of the kiddo’s birthday party here and the service was stellar.

I really like the Hop Shop Party & Play, its located in the Colonial Park Mall in the old Funtastik store. You can take small children there and relax. Rates are per hour and vary based on the child’s age. under 3 years old is 6.00 per hour, and over 3 is 8.00 an hour, there’s a discount for additional siblings.
Some of the Points of interest are: a Gymnastics area, with a slide, barbells, rings, net ladder. A Children’s reading area with about two dozen books for kids, which is really cool! An inflateable obstacle course bounce house. A all pit with a slide leading into it. A Kitchen area with all sorts of toy food, toy stove, toy microwave, etc. My daughter loves this area the most. There area also educational games (Leapfrog) all over the place, there are computers for children, a globe and all sorts of other learning activites. There area cars and trikes galore, a mini basketball hoop, balls, trampoline, bouncer, musical keyboards, a chalkboard & games.
There’s a Parents rest area, with free wifi, magazines, couches, television, a vending machine, etc. The whole floor is covered in protective matts, so no need to worry about children falling down. Socks are required. (and for sale if you didnt bring any) In summary: a great clean place to take your kids and let them wind down. — closed as of sept ’10
