Description

Specialties

Think of the Goldcrafter’s Corner when you’re looking for a gift or jewelry for that special person or event. Go for something unique, handcrafted, and surprisingly reasonable. Over 50 talented American crafters are represented in the gallery; about a dozen local, offering a selection of American handcrafted pottery and fine glass, lamps, chimes and more. The owner is goldsmith and artist Stephanie Long, and if none of the current jewelry suits your needs, she will be happy to sit down with you and design exactly what you want: custom jewelry in gold or silver designed for only you. Have something special, that just doesn’t work for you? Stephanie understands sentimental value, and will re-work your gold, reset your stones, and repair your jewelry, all on the premises.

History

Established in 1989.

Goldsmith Stephanie Long opened the Goldcrafter’s Corner in 2 cells in the back of an experimental artist space called The Old Jail Center in Williamsport, PA in 1989. She opened with less than 20 pieces, all one of a kind, mostly silver… within 2 years she had doubled her space, picking up American handcrafted candles and gifts not available anywhere else in the area. 10 years ago the business moved to 45 Washington Blvd. in Williamsport, a 2400 s.f. gallery, adding and expanding the selection both of her cast and one of a kind designs and custom work, and the other American craftspeople she carries. Now at 5301 Jonestown Rd in Harrisburg, PA, she is excited to be offering an amazing selection of American handcrafted jewelry and gifts to the Greater Harrisburg area, still specializing in that which you can’t find elsewhere in the area.
