Our founder, Matthew Hanshaw, is a CFP® practitioner. His goal for ARK is to make sure each client understands that we have their back, in both good times and bad. Matt has been working in the financial industry for over 20 years. He started as a member of a large, national firm and then began his own independent operation. Wealth accumulation, preparations for college and/​or retirement funds, and assisting clients through the ever-​changing market conditions are just a few of the challenges he has had the pleasure of helping customers with over the years.

Earning a degree in Psychology from Penn State with a focus on mathematics and physics prepared Matt to provide astute insights for his clients. His objective is to recognize and avoid obstacles or challenges before they may impact his clients. He prefers to build relationships that serve his clients for the long term rather than having short term transactional oriented customers.
