Witnessed a fight between a mid 40’s woman and a mid 60’s woman over a machine. The younger woman bullied the older woman and was ridiculous security was quick to respond and they did nothing about the unjust treatment of the older woman. The younger woman seemed to intimidate security as well state of today’s world. Sucks
Witnessed a 80 yr old woman escorted out and turned over to police. Not sure why but seemed strange
We had fun payouts varied but seemed ok. We left Dover winnings here. Lol

Great place to try your luck. I like the dealers and the pit is accommodating and polite. I seem to attract all the crazies when I play and find the least experienced players throwing $ 500 a hand down and doubling 12 against a 10. I don’t need help losing money and I seem to get a lot of help here at Harrington but I have played with some great players as well and won some money. I wish they offered no mid shoe entry and some higher stakes tables to discourage the riff raff from screwing up my $ 2000 hand. Otherwise two thumbs up! Thanks Unilocal for the great reviews. I was traveling on the eastern shore of Maryland and looked up the reviews Harrington Raceway and Casino had some great reviews on Unilocal.Otherwise I was heading to Atlantic City.

Yuck. The buffet was soooo gross. We came hungry and we left hungry. This place deserves 0 stars. I know good eats, and this place doesn’t have any. The soup was disgusting, crackers stale. Food was bland and mushy. This was my first and last visit. Better food comes out of my own home kitchen. Never again.

Went on a Monday night and it was slow. Been a couple of times on mainly Friday and Saturday nights and it has been more of a lively crowd. This casino is more of an older crowd overall. This casino is like any other with your mix of slots and table games just with slightly lower table minimums (always nice considering Maryland casinos). The dealers are generally nice but the floor people can be kinda nasty when you win (boo it’s not your money). But overall this a decent casino that is better than the bigger ones in Maryland and Delaware.

Very disappointed! This is my second visit and I don’t believe there will be a third. We came on BBQ night and there was one BBQ item, the Jack Daniels pork loin, no flavor and dried out. No BBQ ribs, no pulled pork no pit beef not even BBQ chicken. There were attempts at Cajun flare that were also lacking in flavor. Shrimp and grits with mushrooms, I think they used instant grits and they weren’t cook right either. Crawfish boil was left in to much fluid and was not seasoned. There was also something claiming to be chicken cordon blue thighs, fried boneless thighs with pieces of ham in what was supposed to be an Alfredo sauce (it wasn’t). The pies seem store bought. No we would not recommend nor will we be back.

As far as casinos in the area go, Harrington is a bit further out of the way for me; Maryland Live and the new Horshoe Casino are closer as I live in MD. HOWEVER I PICK HARRINGTON OVER THESE TWO ANYTIME. No. They are not as nice looking. Harrington is far and out the way and seemingly in the middle of nowhere and I have to pay a toll to get there. BUT, I don’t go to the casino to be impressed by aesthetics. I go to try my hand at winning. I’ve been to Harrington at least a dozen times and I have NEVER lost-​EVER. It has been a guarantee for me to come w/​a certain amount to spend and I have always always always at least doubled (in most cases tripled) my money; these machines pay out; new, old, it doesn’t matter, you win. If I’ve ever left empty handed it’s because I didn’t know how to quit when I was ahead and trust me, that’s only happened once. There are a couple of food options there; my guy likes BOLO’s for their turkey and roast beef sandwiches and the deli for the hot dogs, but I usually nibble his food; I don’t eat; it’s decent however.
If you want a casino that is full of thrills and pretentiousness, then this is not your place. If you want to hear some down home music (especially from the 90’s when music was at it’s best), play table games that don’t break the bank and actually feel like a winner for a change, this is your place. I don’t think people understand that the older machines are the ones that pay out. I put $ 30 in an older machine I had discovered while my guy was in line at BOLO’s; and was just playing to kill time. Within five minutes, I was in a bonus round and walked away with over $ 200.000. I mean just that quick; this has happened more than once. The people are friendly, and you are not fighting over your machines. And there are machines that I know if I play will pay out, no matter what it seems. I LOVE IT HERE.
It has the least bit of appeal, but the best payouts by far. The newer casinos closer to me payout when they feel like it. I’ve won big at Maryland Live and the payout was great. really great, but in actuality I came out even in the wash because of the amount I’ve wasted in there… LOL. Most of the time I’ve left them feeling cheated (even if I was the one who chose to gamble my money away. LOL). We don’t even bother with MD casinos any more. They’re trying to recoup building and other costs and are too busy competing with each other to really give out real cash. I mean people seem to love them, but for me, you know the saying, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

I have been here many times not as a player but as a casino vendor employee back in 2012 – 2013 I no longer work for company but is a good casino I have not played as a player of this casino.

Very friendly dealers at the tables. Clean, not too loud. Overall, a nice way to wile away a few hours.

Drove all the way here from harford county and i was very sorry i did. The place is in the middle of nowhere and i mean nowhere.
The promotions they were advertising on the billboard on rt50 near annapolis are not valid anymore but yet they leave the signs up everywhere.
Also ALL their table games are DIGITAL. It’s weird. No cards or anything. All DIGITAL.
Also the machines were ULTRA-​TIGHT when i was there…
1000% DON’T RECOMMEND STOPPING HERE…

Close by. Close than AC. Buffet pretty good. The casino is what it is. Spend a little bit, get a card. Free buffet.

Murphy’s Sports Bar upstairs at Harrington Casino has a lot of selections and a nice atmosphere. It offers a full bar (with bar top slots), horse betting, football betting, and keno. It offers a large seating area near the tv wall. The staff is very friendly.

Don’t even bother to contact this company, they will bombard your e-​mail, cell phone and mail with trashy advertising.
I hate how they will send messages to my phone at 4 A.M. PST but it is only 7 A.M. their time. Their advertising tactics are low class.

If you’re one of those people who love playing slots and gambling on the tables then this is the place for you. Have never been to the horse betting area so I couldn’t tell you anything about that. There isn’t much here to draw you into this place. The buffet is absolutely awful. Take the extra 20 minutes to drive to Dover Downs.

Very small-​scale and depressingly dark but, there are a few decent machines and staff is nice enough.
The food at the buffet is NOT restaurant quality but, the Café is decent.
The shows in the Gold room are alright if you’re an older person but, don’t expect anything current or modern from the entertainment there.

It’s about as far away from a Vegas /​Atlantic City experience as possible, and is incomparable to the Maryland Casino Live.
The machines are all old, nothing looks like it has been updated since ’05. The table games are OK, and the variety is fair. Though there is a race track, and sports book, mostly everything else is in need of renovations.
The food at the «free» w/​player’s card buffet experience is one of the worst things I have ever ate, and really just lacked any variety, and fresh flavors. Mostly everything I had seemed to be once frozen, reheated, or prepackaged. The plates were unclean, and the silverware was questionable. There is a nicer restaurant in the back which i am sure is a upgraded experience and is a decently priced steakhouse.
Beer /​liquor costs are a plus since most bottles were $ 3.5 and draughts of Bud products were $ 2.75 (though limited taps /​decent bottles /​no micro draughts).
Music and entertainment is null, outside of the live band playing in the bar outside of the «finer» steakhouse at the casino.

If there was ever a time the quote «it is what it is» is needed, it’s with this casino. Nothing fancy, nothing special pretty much a good little casino. I come for the Poker room, although its never busy. You can always get a seat quickly and there is usually 2 to 3 tables running at a time. The raceway reminds me of Laurel racetrack in Maryland where I made my first real bet ever way back in 1990. I live in Annapolis so its much closer than Atlantic City, plus I am saving gas and the crazy tolls. Oh yeah almost forgot they actually have an awesome buffet here believe or not. I think Prime Rib night is Sunday night, but don’t quote me on it.

If you are holding this up to the same standard you would a Las Vegas casino you will be disappointed. But if you go in expecting a smaller casino that is slots heavy you will be pleased. They have table games, a decent poker room, and a limited sports book that actually give them a slight leg up on their AC counter parts. The buffet was OK, a big selection with some decent items but you certainly wouldn’t make a special trip for the food. Murphy’s is the name of the Sports Book and the bar had good service and the TV set-​up is ideal for sports viewing. You can only bet horses and NFL however so don’t go thinking you can drop cash on a multitude of games. All in all I’ll be back especially on a NFL Sunday as this is a decent place.

Small but fun! The exterior had absolutely NO indication that it was a casino. haha. It looked like a huge house! But the inside was pretty new. with a friendly atmosphere.
It was a bit far out of the city from us. but we had a good time. If we’re in the area again, I’d definitely come here. It is not that busy but it was starting to. Seems like everyone is so nice, the place is sort of like kept under control. haha. (Some Atlantic City casinos can be rough!)
I overheard some people talking about the buffet with some good reviews. Perhaps that might be the next visit.
The GPS might not know the exact location. You’re better off staying on the main road, wait to see the harrington sign and then turn in. There’s another area with the raceway and it ended up getting us confused/​lost.

We were bored yesterday and decided to head down to this casino that is right near our house. We were pleasantly surprised! You walk in and you feel like you are in Vegas. The best part about this casino is the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. No attitude. We went in the afternoon and ended up staying all night– listening to the band, eating, etc. The clam appetizer was delicious… the broth was one of the best I have ever had. We had an opportunity to speak with the chef who was very friendly! Not to mention, the bartender Tony was great too. We had very good conversation with him and he was very entertaining. We will for sure be heading back soon :)
