Clean, cute, quant place! Breakfast was great & just the right amount of food. I had the French toast, which was delicious. My husband had the Western omelette, which he said was tasty. The home fries, that I stole off his plate, were done just right. We also shared a side of grits, which were so yummy! The coffee is stronger than i usually like, but it’s locally made, so that’s cool. Would definitely go back, especially since the waitresses was friendly & gave great service.

Second time here. Should have known better not to go again the first time we came was with a group of people and was so slow we almost walked out and the waitress was snooty. Second time the waitress was nice but we had to ask multiple times where is our order we just looked around in disbelief because it wasn’t that busy and my boyfriend said you know we should just get out of here and go somewhere else. We just wanted a basic breakfast that should not take over half hour to wait for. We had some things to do like sightseeing. But we gave it a chance. They brought out some runny watery grits that were very salty (I wish I took a picture of them and the omelette) I told waitress to take away. Then they brought an omelette that was watery inside with raw egg mixed in with cheese and my boyfriend said his bacon was badly burnt. At that point we had enough and I brought up the omelette to the management and they were so nasty I couldn’t believe it they should have been apologetic and nice about or we might not have written this review. I said we are just going to go to McDonalds and they said you do that. We left and found another diner type place in Charles Town across from the casino. We were seated quickly and food came in a ¼ of time as CC. The grits were creamy, the omelette cooked, bacon normal. It was like a night and day experience.

This place was standard place. The sausage and home fries were good. The pancakes were okay. I would give 2.5 stars, but that is not an option. Since our waitress was on point and they had this awesome spray in the bathroom to cover up poop smell — they get 3 stars.

Had the wimpy breakfast which was just the right amount of food. Coffee was good and sausage was yummy. Hubs said the sourdough toast was a tasty addition to his hearty breakfast. Not too crowded for 8:30 on a Sunday morning!

We stopped in on our drive home from DC to Cincinnati this morning. We wanted a good old fashioned breakfast, and that what we got. Country Café is a charming, cheerful place with great service and good food. Need I say more? If you come to Harper’s Ferry (and I hope you do. It’s a stunningly beautiful place to step back in time and revisit our history), I hope you will take time to walk a little. Lots of hikers and bikers. It gets crowded as the day goes on, so come early… for breakfast.

This is your average local breakfast stop. Eggs, pancakes, omelets, hash browns, etc. It’s all decent — nothing bad and nothing great. A close-​knit community seems to make up most of the regulars which is always nice to see. Their claim to fame is King Abdullah of Jordan stopped here for coffee and tea in 2010 which I wish I could have witnessed as it must have been a great sight.

The waitresses call you «honey» and the food is fantastic and homemade. The chips that come on the side with a sandwich are worth the extra calories.

This place hit the spot. Excellent omelet, crispy bacon and red skin homefries. I’m was looking for a homemade breakfast and after talking to the hotel staff they all recommended this place without hesitation. If you are around harpers ferry and want breakfast, get it here.

I went here with a group for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was great! The décor is super cute and perfect for this small little diner in Harper’s Ferry. I had pancakes, bacon, and home fries. The pancakes were green in getting ready for St. Patty’s day, which was awesome. The people who run the café are super nice and friendly. I definitely recommend going if you’re in the area.

Great place for a relaxing country breakfast, a tad pricey on the coffe though at 2.25 a cup but at least it’s free refill

Had the veggie omelette, no complaints there. Good customer service. Very personable. Not a place to go if you’re in a hurry. Only 3 people were working on a Saturday morning. Will come back next time!

A nice breakfast in a beautiful town. Most of the locals go there, so that definitely says something. Diner food owned locally and home cooked!

This place has so much potential. Breakfast would have been great, if it would have been hot.

The owners and employees of this restaurant are so sweet and friendly! A group of 10 volunteers including me travelled to Harpers Ferry to do service this past week and the owner was nice enough to donate a meal to all of us. The portions were large, the atmosphere comforting and the food delicious! Definitely a great place to visit while in the town!

Just what we wanted on a rainy Thursday morning. Country Café is the kind of place where folks can linger over coffee or plan a day of sightseeing or hiking on the Adirondack Trail. It’s cozy but not cramped and friendly but not oppressive.
We tried the western omelet, which was made carefully, filled with honey ham, cheddar cheese, onion and green pepper. Worth eating slowly. Our friend had the accurately-​named Hearty Breakfast. This morning plateful had eggs, toast, sausage and — highlight alert — fantastic home fried potatoes, made with onions and spices. Memorable.
When we visited, business was down because the usual stream of Harper’s Ferry tourists had been discouraged by the government shutdown. Watch for it on US340Alt on the way into the town. Parking is limited.

The service was excellent it had a small town feeling and the chicken noodle soup is the best I’m coming here to eat again!!!

Perfect lunch spot in Harpers Ferry. Adorably decorated, clean, good sandwich menu, nice server — couldn’t ask for a better experience!

This place is WONDERFUL. Great service, will make basically anything you want. Family run, and super inexpensive! YUM!

This is a great country breakfast spot.
Fancy it’s not, but clean and affordable yes.
They have a fair breakfast menu which they serve til 11am.
I opted for the veggie omelet, two eggs with spinach, mushrooms & tomatoes. I added a side of hash browns.
I stopped in to visit Harpers Ferry on a Fall Sat morning, not much else was open.
Friendly staff and affordable.
I would highly recommend for breakfast.
