So confused by the other ratings. Apex isn’t only the best counter top installers I’ve worked with, they were one of the best contractors. My install went flawlessly, they granite looks awesome, and the guys stayed well past 6:30 on a Friday evening (our house is more than hour away from they’re shop) to make sure everything was perfect. I was so happy with the work that I tipped each guy in the crew. A week later I received a letter from the president thanking me, returned my money and told me they would provide the extra compensation to the crew and only asked that I consider them for future projects.
Hats off to you Apex your company rocks!

I wish I could give No stars. Horrible.
Ordered large island in absolute black honed granite with small piece taken from the sink cut out to be a cutting board to be placed adjacent to cooktop.
On the island slab they;
1. cut the hole too large for disposal air switch and soap dispenser and created a jagged edge around the hole which could not be covered by the trim which they had in their possession when they made the cut (they are trying to find a larger trim kit cover for the hole. Unfortunately the actual devices slip thru the hole. They have no solution for that).
2. Used the wrong sealant on honed product which created permanent streaks and several large areas of fading where installers must have noticed the problem and tried to vigorously wipe it away
3. Used a less desirable and less expensive slab which is speckled with brown-​clearly NOT absolute black which, as its name suggests, has no markings
4. After measuring charged us a 25% increase above the original estimate
5. Took 4 weeks instead of the promised 2 weeks to install the island badly and…
6 still haven’t delivered the cooktop piece (it’s been 8 weeks and counting) and can’t even give me a status update on if it’s been done or when I may get it.
They frequently don’t return phone calls at all and when they do it’s NEVER in less than 48 hours and never once have they admitted that they have done anything wrong.
If the smiling and perennially up-​beat sales guy greets me on the phone one more time with «hey buddy how’s it going?» Like he’s my best friend I swear I will scream.
Use Mont Granite. Don’t use Apex. Ever. For anything.

Purchased two separate pieces of countertop from them. Granite began chipping within a short time. They came out and refused to acknowledge it was chipping. using some ridiculous explanation. They refused to do anything beyond a cleaning. Chips continue to appear.
The salesman, during the initial consultation, lead us to believe that a raised edge could be added to another island piece. Hit his was further discussed in subsequent emails. On installation day no edge was added. The installers told us such a thing was no feasible. The salesman should have informed us of this from the onset as to allow us to build the cabinet differently. No apology given.
I will never purchase from them again.
