Our qualified staff of companions, certified nursing assistants and nurse’s, work closely with you and your family, to provide only what is needed and what is affordable to you. History

Established in 2010.

For Keep Sake. began eighteen months ago, when I, the owner, was caring for my own mother. I am a therapist and have been working with the Senior/​Elder population for over ten years. I have seen sorrow, pain, and many challenges along my path that I chose for myself in caring for others. There were times that I could help and times where situations were out of my hands, but I did all that I could for each and every one of my patient’s. One thing for sure, was that the lack of staff, attention and little concern for senior’s broke my heart. Patient’s asking for help but being ignored. became a daily routine. Patient’s who had no family, placed in a nursing home, alone sitting in a wheelchair just hoping someone would notice them. Then, there are those that give up, slowly fading away, waiting to die. I could no longer watch this, feeling like I was not doing enough. I am a Patient Advocate fighting for you. Home is an option, where you deserve to be.

My name is Eileen Blaha and I am the proud owner of «For Keep Sake Home Care». I have worked my whole life trying to help those in need, but never realized, after working in Nursing Homes, the Quality of Care would never change. I am a Patient Advocate for the National Patient Advocate Foundation, and I am fighting for you. The most important thing in Life, is Life itself. Seniors need us to guide them and support their needs. One should never be taken from their home, whether medical or non-​medical situations, when you can be around the one’s you love. In hospitals and nursing facilities, the staff is short, the time is limited and all that matters really, is that the beds are filled. A business transaction to make money. Since when is there a price on someone’s life. Seniors need to be educated in understanding the process of caring for a loved one and the options that are available. We are here for you every step of the way. Home is an option, you do matter to us. We care about you.
