Rented the venue for my new years wedding. It was perfect. The owner is the sweetest lady in the WORLD. So helpful. The house was that magic touch that I needed for my wedding. Simply beautiful.

Wonderful Venue! I attended a wedding and it was an AMAZING space. The view from the front porch was beautiful, though there is a road between you and the water, the traffic was not a distraction. This wedding was small, and the rooms were perfect for this affair. I can imagine wonderful spring/​summer events on the lawn, which would hold a larger soirée. The kitchen was fantastic according to the caterer. It is a venue, you make your event what you want it to be. According to my hosts, the Settles were more than accommodating and helpful!

We went to a Rotary Club function at this beautiful older house on Stillhouse lake in Harker Heights, TX. It was very nice. One bad point, it was a little difficult to figure out which door to go in, but it was the unlocked one out of 3, fancy that!
The floors are a blond hardwood and the woodwork is basic white. The restrooms are convenient, modern and clean. The main room is good for a banquet, dinner, dance, reception, wedding, any kind of meeting. The windows look out over Stillhouse lake and it is very quiet and pleasant.
You need to bring your own caterer, band, etc, but the facility is perfect.
