Ladies of Charity Thrift Shop

This store is very hit or miss, depending on what you’re looking for. Things are generally very reasonably priced if not downright cheap. They do not have a lot of big furniture, though they get sofas, chairs, and beds from time to time. Most clothes and shoes are $ 2 or $ 3. This is a great place to shop for kids’ stuff, with lots of clothes and books. The ladies who run this store are fantastic – so kind and helpful. They have a great «dollar bag» deal. In a certain area of the store, you can fill a grocery bag with as much clothing as you can fit (and still tie it) and it only costs $ 1. Single items from that area I believe are only 25 cents. Great prices on home items such as dishes an small appliances. Their hours are kind of weird and hard to remember. Their selection is not always great, but it is worth making a special stop, even on a «miss» day.
