The best bread pudding and flan I had in Southern California. The lady who helped my friend and I, was the sweetest and very helpful. I will be going back!!!

Best tamales in South Bay but you better speak and understand Spanish! They open very early too like at 540am. But u have to phone in large orders otherwise you can’t pick up much. Usually sells out too. Not too much masa and just enough meat love them

Very tasty mexican bakery, the best in the area, not the best I’ve tried though. I bought a very good rosca de reyes.

Before school, me and my friend always come here to buy Tamales, and Mexican breads. We save it in our backpacks and save them until Nutrition. Every Nutrition was like a feast, so many food. Haha Good times. I’m only rating it a 3 because sometimes they serve the(one with Jalapeño and cream cheese inside) cold, and it really kills the taste. But their Tamales are really really good. In my quest of finding something sweet to eat after chowing down on some great tacos, I stumbled across this little hole in the wall bakery. Damn! They had two huge glass display cases filled with tons of delicious looking treats. They had everything from croissants to barras de fresa(strawberry bars), from a big ass pink-frosted cake to some tiny little macaroons. I picked an Horeja and a peanut butter cookie, $ 1.00 dollar for both!!! Sure the fuck beats Winchell’s or freaking Yum Yum donuts now doesn’t it?

The pan de leche, cookies, and breads at Jimenez are nothing to write home about, but what I’m really writing this review for is the flan. I’m not usually a flan man, and we’ve all had our share of fusty flan, so it took some peer pressure for me to try it here. And I’m glad I caved cause the flan is great — just the right consistency and hints of caramel. Perfect for dessert after El Norteno Tacos next door. The girls behind the counter will tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about Juahaca, so don’t be afraid to ask.
