History

Established in 2014.

The practitioners at Sunnyside Collaborative Care provide naturopathy, acupuncture, massage, IV therapy, manipulation, and counseling in addition to conventional medicine. Uniting the most up-​to-​date evidence-​based practices with clinical experience, a wide variety of therapeutic modalities are brought together to utilize the strengths of each in a collaborative effort. Conventional medicine’s superior crisis treatments are combined with natural medicine’s excellence at restoring health and preventing illness.

Meet the Business Owner

Satya A.

Business Owner

Satya Ambrose is an acupuncturist and naturopathic physician. She received a B.A. in psychology and Biochemistry from Evergreen State College in 1975, her first acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1976, she completed yoga teacher training in 1977, an integrated deep tissue course from Rolfing in 1977, her second acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1978, and a ND from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1989. She has been practicing for over 30 years. She is the co-​founder of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she currently teaches nutrition/​biochemistry and pediatrics. She has taught many areas of medicine including oncology, endocrinology, cardiology, pathology, acupuncture points and therapeutics, medical philosophy, immunology, emotional basis of illness, and women’s health.
