Sadly this place was not very good at all, in my opinion. My friend and I were both disappointed. The guy told us he tried a new strategy of cooking that day though, so it could’ve been a one-off Basically it tasted like rice, topped with chicken drenched in soy sauce. *sad face*

Great Authentic cuisine at this food pod. Ordered the chicken Adobo which is a very good soft chicken. Rive was perfect! Can’t wait to try their beef dish!

Love the Bistek! Thinly sliced beef over steamed rice seems like no big deal but there is a ton off flavor coming from the beef. You gets lot of food for the money too!

I got the Chicken Adobo after seeing so many good reviews about this place. It was a decent sized portion for the price. The sauce was too salty and did not taste that great. They managed to serve dry dark meat chicken. I find this difficult to do since that is the fattiest part of chicken. My brother and I split a plate to save room for other carts in the area. He’s not critical of food at all and we still left most of the plate to order at other places.

Love this cute little cart! I’ve gone to Happy Valley station a couple of times now and i always stop here to get something. My absolute favorite is the beef! If you love a balanced lemony vinegar flavor like me you would love this dish. My second favorite is the Pancit, very tasty and comes with shrimp and pork. Prices are just right, and you get a good amount of food for what you pay for. I walk by all the other choices at the pod and always tend to order at Chicken Adobo.

We both got food poisoning. Cheap, nasty beef. Overcooked, unseasoned cabbage. Overall bland food.

This was my first time eating Filipino food. I got the number 1. It wasn’t bad just not good. The more I ate the blander it got. Anyway I most likely won’t go back.

I’ve been searching for authentic Filipino food for years and finally I have found you. I stumbled across Chicken Adobo a cute and rustic Filipino food cart in Happy Valley Station. Let’s just say I was very pleased with how yummy their food is. I’ve been back twice now and plan to go again very soon. I had my favorite dish, the vinegar chicken adobo. The chicken was so tender and the flavors were to die for. I want some now! Oh and the lumpia… perfect! The portions are on the larger size which is nice for leftovers. And the food is awesome the next day. Thank you Chicken Adobo for getting it right!!! I no longer have to try every Filipino spot I see because I have found you.

There aren’t too many places in the Portland area where you can get Filipino so I was excited when I heard there was one coming to the newest food cart pod in Happy Valley. The food is the best I’ve had in Oregon, big portions and good pricing. Service was fast and friendly. I’ll be a regular here for sure!

Went here for the first time on Saturday night and I will definitely be returning! I’m a huge food cart lover so when I heard about the Happy Valley Station opening with about 30 different food carts AND indoor seating I knew I had to come and check it out. When I first got there, I scanned the different food carts and saw that the Chicken Adobo cart had the longest line. Curious I went to go and check it out and saw that the cart was serving authentic Filipino food. I’ve never had Filipino food before but my friends were always raving about their food, and seeing the long line at the cart I decided it was finally time for me to give it a try. Although the line was long, it moved fairly quickly. Because I wasn’t sure of what to order I asked the guy at the window and he was very helpful and patient with answering all of my questions(even though there were many people in line behind me as well). As a first timer he recommended the Chicken Adobo and the Pancit, so I ordered both dishes as well as some lumpias for my friend and I. Boy was I not disappointed! Everything was delicious! I enjoyed everything that I ordered. The Chicken was fantastic, the lumpias were wonderful, and the Pancit was probably my most favorite dish of the three. My friend and I were glad we decided to try out the Chicken Adobo food cart that night. The customer service was superb and the food was phenomenal. It was a wonderful first time experience for me and Filipino food :). I will definitely be recommending this cart to all my friends and family!

OMG you guys gotta get down here and try this place. Filipino cuisine is delish. I am already eating the lumpia on the way home and not sure there will be any left for the wife. All my Filipinos out there in Oregon, if you want a taste of home check this place out. All my Oregonians out there, if you want a taste of the Philippines check this place out. Also ordered the chicken adobo and the bistek and it was authentically delicious. There aren’t really any Filipino food places in Portland, but now there is Chicken Adobo and it is the real deal. You won’t be disappointed.
