My detailing career started when I was 18 at the local dodge dealership. It was something I was drawn to, mainly because my dad has sold cars for many years and I grew up around a lot of different cars. As I got older, I wanted to improve my skills in the detailing Industry so I sought private owned detailing businesses. I worked for several different detail shops during and after college. Everything I learned was prior to youtube and other social media outlets. I learned by hands on experience. After college I was working for the local Honda dealer as the detail manager for 2 ½ years. I felt like I was wasting my talents since dealers do not generally give much attention to quality in their detail departments. I had a good relationship with many small dealers in the area. I asked them if I started a detailing business would they send me work and they said yes. This is how my business was started and it has grown drastically in the last 2 years.
