Masquerade Face and Body art is a local Carroll County company with over 30 years combined art experience. We specialize in face painting and body art, henna and glitter tattoos for events of all types for ages 2 — 102! In the area for over 8 years, we have been regulars at the Westminster Flower and Jazz Festival, Hampstead Day, and the Westminster Fall Fest, but travel extensively and have done corporate events for the likes of Carnival Cruise lines, Kennedy Kreiger and Strathmore Foundation. History

Established in 2006.

Mother and daughter started this face painting business almost on a whim after painting at a church function. Little did they know that almost 7 years later they would be doing this full time. Each member has a background in art related subjects from music to cake decoration and everything in between. But their passion for face painting and the photography needed for taking photos of their clients birthed not just one business, but two. Now, Masquerade Face and Body art has a «sister» business, Masquerade Studios Photography, each bringing you the finest in the Carroll County area and beyond.

Meet the Business Owner

Terry J.

Business Owner

Terry has a variety of artistic experiences to draw upon and to give to this business. She started out as a musician, playing piano and majoring in French Horn. Then she became a photographer in her 20’s and was the photographic lab manager of a teaching hospital. After that it was marriage and kids where she homeschooled her four children through high school. During that time her artistic abilities shined as she taught her kids to love art, music and photography. She also headed up a rock band during this time and sang, wrote the music and played keyboard. After that it was onto art again when she and her oldest daughter started Masquerade. And now seven years later they own two businesses together doing face panting and photography in the Baltimore area.
