History

Established in 1951.

We are a family run business and have been serving the south shore for 63 years. When Gene Haen Sr. first opened Capeway Sunoco in 1951, he had dreams that it would one day be passed on to his children. Now after three generations have come to pass, we are proud to look back on over 61 years of quality service. Capeway Sunoco is still a traditional full service gas station.

This was the first time I had to call a tow truck in over 10 years. When I called they said right away. But I didn’t realize they were going to be there in 2 minutes. Now I don’t mind standing on the side of the road! TY

I have never before been so bowled over by the excellent service of a towing company until now. Yesterday after church my car sputtered to a stop on the highway. Luckily there was a turnout to get safely out of the way. I had called one tow truck which gave me a 2 – 3 hour wait time. The state police pulled up behind me about 20 minutes later and offered to call a truck that would come more quickly. John from Capeway pulled up about 15 minutes later. He apologized that he couldn’t take me all the way near my home because they were so busy. He dropped me and the car near Trader Joe’s at the mall and promised to come back to take me the rest of the way in about 90 minutes. Sure enough in less than 90 minutes, he called to say he was on the way. He advised that the owners of Capeway were «good people» who looked out for their customers. What a breath of fresh air in the towing world!
