The first of several teas planned at Hanover Tavern Foundation throughout the year was held Saturday, February 7, 2015. Beautifully appointed tables invited guests to relax, enjoy numerous teas, and try lovely tea sandwiches, scones, and sweets prepared by the Tavern kitchen. A brief lecture described the origins of tea, its production, and the tradition and etiquette of English tea service. Foundation volunteers provided flawless table service.
