One of the best places in the Hampton Roads to take your car to get inspected, recommendations, and worked on! I was introduced to Steve by a good friend of mine. At first he was just doing my inspections. However, one day Brake King destroyed out relationship with some over priced service that barely go done correctly and charged me for service that they knew would be ratified due to another issue.
I decided the military discount for coming to the shop was not worth it and that I would give S&S Automotive Work a try. I mean what could happen. I would not of known had I not had the courage to try. And I am glad I did!!! He has serviced my car at reasonable prices and if he did not do a particular service he has recommended me where I could get the service done. If I did not need a particular service as suggested by the Toyota dealership, he did not do it. If something happened with a service after a few days or weeks and I call him, he allowed me to bring my car in and take a look FREE of charge. He has even fixed a few items for FREE for me. This has gained my confidence in doing business with him and his team.
I am confident in their loyalty, committtment, honesty, time, and skills.
I have always dropped my car off so I am unsure of wait times.
There was one time I went to drop my car off after hours and I guess he heard me drop the key in the box and took the time to ask me to confirm what it was that made me want to drop my car off. This was done on his time. He could have ignored me but he chose to tend to my needs and he got right to it that morning.
He is customer focused. He is not in the business to rip anyone, which is my belief. I am having car issues now and have move out of the area and almost consider taking leave to drop my car off for service. I really miss this place and I know my car does too!
