Update: so I had one ultra-​lengthy experience here which left me salty. Every other time I’ve been here has been good so I’m upping my rating. They offer free state inspections for military which was a pleasant surprise. There is something to be said for local businesses that give us the hook up, so thank you Pomoco. Free WiFi always brightens my mood too. Genuine Mopar parts and service are the way to go. Thanks guys!

I had a problem with the back up lights going out on my vehicle. They wouldn’t come on while in reverse. I also had a fault code for the EVAP system. I included all photos on this page for reference. So, as I do not know an exceeding amount about the EVAP system, and after ensuring the bulbs and fuses were fine in the vehicle, I decided to take it to pomoco. Huge mistake. I was thinking around $ 200 bucks to fix the entirety of the issues. Pomoco, however hit me with a $ 677 bill to correct the problems. I opted not to get it fixed as that amount seemed extremely excessive. After Pomoco discovered I wasn’t going to get it fixed they turned around and billed me $ 196 for diagnosis fees. At no point was this hidden fee discussed. $ 196 dollars for just looking at my vehicle. I took the truck home and started going through auto store sites for the price of the parts. I payed a total of $ 22 dollars for parts and sliced a quarter size piece of hose off the evap system connector instead of paying $ 25 for a new length of hose. Total repair time was 30 minutes. I drove the truck today, back up lights work and after 15 miles the check engine light went off. I feel as if I was robbed. I had to pay $ 196 dollars for them just to look at my vehicle. They quoted me $ 262 above market value for the parts. And stated the repair for the reverse light switch would be $ 60 for one hour, it took me 5 minutes to swap that part and verify repair effectiveness. I was a fool for bringing in my vehicle. The only reason I did not give this place all 5 stars is because I got a notice to «renew» my sirius subscription when the sales agent told me it was a 5 years subscription.
Other than that everything was great! The finance managers were excellent and I got into the jeep of my choice.

Brought my Ram 1500 in for a tune up and all went fast and very well. my team leader Jeff was very informative and made me feel at home. I will always come back here for my work on my truck. The mech. Rick Freeman was very professional and answered all my question’s thanks rick

Tried to buy a jeep here, only had two patriots in stock. Guess it was because they are a small dealership. They wanted full price on a older vehicle model when the newer ones come out in a few days. Couldn’t even talk down the price they shook my hand and let me walk out the door. Took my business to another dealer where they had a huge selection to chose from and I’m now glad that I was able to get the jeep at my price, so happy I didn’t settle for pomoco.

I called this dealership twice today, once to contact a sales person and once to see what time they closed. I was rudely greeted by a receptionist both times and not just a little rude! Like super! I will NOT be spending my money at this place! Rude. The first call, I asked for the sales person that had contacted me via email. «No, he is not here today,» I know typing this won’t give the attitude I received justice but it was pretty bad. Not «Would you like to talk to someone else?» NOTHING! It was like I interrupting her day by calling and having her do her job. I said thank you & hung up. About 2 hours later I called back to see what time they closed. The conversation goes as follows. Me: «Hello, what time do you close?» Her: «Which department are you talking about???» Me: «The sales Dept». Her: «8pm» (ALL ATTITUDE), Me: «Ok thank you!» Her: «YEP!!! Click!» I don’t understand why people whose job depends on the sales/​purchasing of motor vehicles are RUDE to customers.

I couldn’t wait to get home just to start a review of Pomoco Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Hampton. After a not so good visit last time, this dealership took complaints and FIXED them, hands down!
The experience began as soon as I drove into the service port for an oil change. A service technician immediately greeted me and showed me to the service desk (I already knew where it was from past visit but that was a nice touch for him to do so). He then starts collecting data and inspecting my car. By him doing so it made the entire process go a lot faster.
The red team Service Advisor was Mr. George Wood (I highly recommended asking for him or the Service Director Steve Moore). He was on the phone with another customer when I approached so I waited patiently. I overheard the conversation he was having with that customer and he was giving nothing but 5 star service; answering questions, making recommendation and sound judgment calls. He immediately focused his attention on me with the same quality service when he was done with his call. They got my car in within minutes of me arriving.
I went into the waiting room, which was immaculately clean. Good family TV programing was on and the vending machines were stocked with snacks. Other than being a little chilly for me (I’m sure they would have adjusted the temp had I ask, but the other customers seemed comfortable so kept quiet) it was a nice place to wait for my vehicle and read a book, and that is what I did.
To my surprise I got an unexpected visitor. Bill Hayes, the President of the Hampton location came out to personally introduce himself to me. He greeted me warmly and thanked me personally for coming back. He told me a wonderful story that I will never forget about how society has gotten away from congratulating people person. I listen prudently and thought to myself he was the foundation of this great service. He was a very nice man and I enjoyed speaking to him. It meant a lot that he would take time from his busy day to come out and introduce himself.
Twenty minutes later from the time I arrived, my vehicle was ready. I could not believe it. I have never been to a car dealership for service and received my car that quickly. It was not just me receiving quick service like this for simple maintenance, everyone in the waiting room got the same service.
Mr. Wood came out with my paper work and we went to the cashier cage. There was a slight problem at the cashier cage but that was my on fault, Mr. Moore came out and immediately took care of the problem. The cashier was warm and receptive and the transaction went smooth. I was there and home in less than an hour.
The service and personal interaction spoke volumes for me, I am seriously considering purchasing my next vehicle at Pomoco of Hampton in the future.
If you go here and have a problem of any kind, bring it to their attention. Customer Satisfaction is what the aim to do.

Well my daughter took in her Jeep Cherokee Larado in for a steering problem. They said it was a power steering hose. Don’t know if it was the low or high pressure hose. Well she went to pick it up today, got ½ block or so and could not steer it. Fluid gushing all over the place. Will post and update to see how they handle it.
