Didn’t feel like making anything for supper and remembered we had stopped by for a chicken wrap a couple of weeks earlier and found out they delivered. So called them up and ordered an organic chicken salad and supreme pizza. The girl said it would be a little over an hour so we figured they must just be busy. When our food finally arrived the pizza was cold and barely cooked. The onions were still raw and hard. The crust was bland and had no taste. The salad was nothing special with just a small handful of lukewarm chicken on top. The raspberry vinaigrette was completely tasteless. It just seemed like someone didn’t give a care and threw the stuff together. There are plenty of other places to spend our hard earned money on. We will not be going back.

Pretty excited to see this location open as its closer than Kiln Creek! My kids were at a birthday party next door to the Kiln Creek location and we decided to grab some pizzas to go for dinner. Gus’s is pretty expensive($ 30 for 2XL pizzas), but considering the over-abundance of national chain places in the area, we wanted to give it a shot after we’ve heard many positive reviews. They knocked it out of the park!!! The crust reminds me of my favorite pizza crust back home from a local shop in the Philadelphia region, the cheese was on point, and the sauce is amazing! 2XL pizzas(10 slices each) fed 3 kids and 2 adults with plenty left over for the next day. The Hampton location is no exception — just like their Kiln Creek location, everything was amazing. The staff at both locations were very friendly and both locations had my orders ready in a timely manner on what were both busy nights. You’re getting what you pay for at Gus’s and then some. They do have specials on their pizza throughout the week, but like most places they are either not honored or different on the weekends which is not uncommon. We will definitely be back, and we look forward to trying other menu items!

Nothing is more exciting to being a Unilocal-er than to be the first to review a new place. You kinda set the tone with that initial review. Well I went to Gus’s New York Pizza just near my house; I mean it is literally less than a half mile from me. That is why I’m excited about this review as well. The place is in a newly renovated building and it looks very nice. A bar area, many wide screen TV’s and a very friendly staff. Wife and I arrived to order out and have a few drinks while we eat. Some people were either sitting at the bar ordering their food or sitting here waiting. We had to ask someone waiting if we could have their seats because were going to have drinks while we waited. Place needs a waiting area other than the bar. We ordered a couple of beers and a ex-large supreme pizza to go. I went through two beers and my wife one while we waited. Pizza was done while we were in the middle of our drinks so they kept it warm for us. Really pleasant staff and the place looked nice. Now when we got home we had to place the pizza in the over for about 10 minutes because it was under cooked for my taste. Nothing really special about it as a matter of fact it taste like any other small NY style pizza place. Im sure other food is good, the wings looked really good. Ill be back, I’d love to sit on their outdoor deck when the weather warms up.
