Fresh Scent Carpet Care

Very unprofessional. They only clean carpets Monday through Friday, 8 am — 5 pm… no evening hours or weekend hours. I should have known then that this would not end well.
I called to confirm my appointment, but no one was in the office to take my calls (3). The technician was late and he didn’t park where we asked him to (condo parking). He came to the house and before he even made an effort, told my husband we would have to reschedule because he didn’t have enough hose or water to do the job… wth??? This was after my husband left work early to meet him.
As a rule of thumb, for me, from now on, I will not take my chances with Groupon anymore… it has been my experience that if the company is working with Groupon, there is a reason… a not-​so-​good reason.

Got a Groupon for this company and figured all carpet cleaning companies were the same. I thought wrong. Immediately when I called to book the appt., they were trying to add on extra rooms and stairs. They also highly recommended the «pre-​conditioning treatment» (which turned out to be some spray bottle solution they sprayed on as they were cleaning) for $ 32 extra per room! They said that it helped get more dirt and grim up and further sanitized the carpet. If it’s so great, why don’t they just add it to the cost and make sure the carpet gets as clean as possible from the get go??? Not to mention the worker who cleaned my carpet was asking me for a tip UP FRONT! WTH!!! I’ve never heard of tipping a carpet cleaner AND I have NEVER had anyone ask for a tip in advance! He went on to tell me that a decent tip was $ 25! Seriously? He got $ 15 and that was just because he was standing there waiting for it and I felt intimidated. As with most Groupons, this company is terrible. Don’t waste your time or money.
