History

Established in 1961.

The boat was built in 1961 by R.F. Green in Deltaville v.a. to be a charter boat at that time Capt. Cody owned and operated the boat after going threw a couple first mates he found Mike Tomko he was good with the people and learned to run the boat when Capt. Cody retired Capt. Mike purchased the boat and ran the boat for nearly twenty years with his family after his kids go a little older and no longer where able to help run the four Winds he sold the boat to Capt. John O’Neal in 2012 Capt. John is a life long Virginia native his father showed him how to fish and swim in the waters he now fishies with his passion for the area and fishing he hopes to share his knowledge with his clients for years to come

Capt. John was born and raised right here in Hampton Roads. He learned to swim and fish right in the Chesapeake Bay. after many years in the construction business as iron worker Capt. John was able to purchase the Four Winds to share is passion of fishing with others. as john grew up in Virginia Beach his family lived on a lake John would fish, swim and boat till he was told to eat or sleep could not keep him away from the water.
