The additional fees and extras can add up and you end paying the same amount as the local chain dealers so in the end-​go there instead. The warranty is nationwide at most chains have a solid and better reputation.
I was quoted one price and ended up paying almost double to mount 2 new tires, balance, and valve stems all of which were separate charges. In addition, the owner operator proceeded to criticize the purchase I made of the tires online and told me the tires I purchased would not last me a year, that I paid too much, and that I would be back to buy new tires soon.
Attention business owners: Never criticize your competitors and never tell a customer he/​she has made a bad decision, because they could be making one right now by doing business with you-​a new client. In other words, if you criticize my decision in the past and I do business with you now: Did I make a bad decision by doing business with you today?
So, I would let them patch or plug a tire only in an emergency.
