Had a box of mushroom pizza here the other day, and let’s just say this place does not even deserve 1 star. Pizza was terrible. You are better off buying pizza from little caesars or a frozen pizza from Market Basket. Don’t go here and waste your money.

I have been eating Cristy“s pizza for years. When i was a kid we would have to go to Salisbury beach to get it now we can get it in Hampton beach. It is some of the best pizza i have ever had. In some places of the country its called grandma pizza but in locally I think its just beach pizza.

I was taken aback by how rude the staff member I encountered there was. I got 1 slice of pizza for $ 2.40 and so I gave him $ 3.00. He took my change and put it directly into his tip jar without even asking me. I couldn’t believe it. I was about to fish my $ 0.60 out of that jar for how rude this was. Can’t believe this place is still in business with that kind of treatment towards their customers. I was shocked.

This place is VILE and if it wasn’t for the fact it’s open late and next to bars full of drunk hungry people, it would be out of business. Their pizza is disgusting and sits out in the center of their store. You can clearly tell it sits there for HOURS sometimes and when they«cook it» for you, it even tastes like old pizza. Don’t even think of ordering toppings, it’s that same nasty cold cheese pizza heated up with toppings. Ugh I don’t know how the health department hasn’t shut this place down !!!

Best pizza ever! You have to get the extra cheese. The provolone is the best I’ve ever had

It’s Cristy’s Pizza, you guys. It’s beach pizza. Anyone who rated poorly is not from here. Ordering«a box» is 8 squares, ordering«extra cheese» gets you the provolone(and you want to do both of those). I don’ know how else to describe it… it’s beach pizza, and you need it.

Okay, so it’s not terrible, but: you should probably know what you’re going into because we had NO idea. We ordered from Mama Leone’s, but the Google site attached to their location was in RI. yup, I had a large pizza & delicious breadsticks in RI as we sat beachside at Hampton. When we walked in to pick it up, Leone’s explained, apologized and pointed us in the direction of Cristy’s. No biggie, I love new places! Walked up to this tiny little placeand watched as he pulled what looked like Elio’s with some extra crust out of the oven, and noticed there was only strange quantities of pizza and odd toppings on the menu. He kindly offered us extra cheese-to which we agreed. I watched in horror as he casually slapped some provolone on there and called it a day. I’m sure it’s great if you’re walking home from the beach and don’t mind something that looks like you could make it drunk at 2am, but $ 16 for the photo attached makes me summarize my experience as a pizza enthusiast as:

This place is a ways off the main drag. We went there because of the great ratings, but were underwhelmed by the overall toppings selection. In my humble opinion, a highly rated pizza place should have more than six topping choices.

Loved this place, my vacation rental was around the corner and what we would do is bring a pizza to the beach and then bring a pizza home lol. Its simple, delicious, and the price is low. I don’t know about you but I like ordering food where you do not have to wait long. Good customer service as well.

I have been going to Cristy’s Pizza since I was a kid and I am now 48, My Dad would make the 1.25 hour long trip to get this pizza! It is light and very very tasty… the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Was just there this week 8÷12÷2013(same trip 1.25 hours) and decided to try both Tripoli’s against Cristy’s. Let me tell you folks Tripoli’s is sugar sauce, I could not believe how sweet this sauce was, I almost threw it away. Cristy’s at Salisbury Beach and also excellent Pizza on the way to Hampton is Cristaldo’s, which I was told is the original recipe to Cristy’s Pizza. So the only problem is it is so far away if you do not live near there. I believe I am going to fix this and open a Cristy’s or Cristaldos in southern Mass off 495. There is nothing around here like it.

I’ve been eating Cristy’s Pizza since I was a kid. I think Salisbury is the original location, but the one is Hampton is just as good(and the one I go to mostly since it’s closer to home). Whenever I’m at the beach, this place is a MUST! A slice with provolone is my all time favorite pizza. 2 slices is a good serving size… 3 if you’re really hungry.

Cristy’s is where it’s at for beach pizza. For people from out of town — Beach pizza is sold through windows the fried food eateries that line the strip at Hampton and Salisbury Beach. Don’t expect a sit down spot or to eat indoors. I get mine with a slice of provolone. Salisbury is my usual spot but I’ve been here to the Hampton Beach location a few times too. Same pizza. Same awesomeness. DOWNWITHTHEIMPOSTER — TRIPOLI’S. PASS

Really good beach pizza. Crispier than Tripoli’s. Extra cheese meant a slice of provolone on top of basic tomato sauce.

Be real. this is not pizza. It is fast, and it is edible, but it is not pizza. neither thick nor thin. it is not pizza. Extra cheese means a slice of processed provolone cheese is added to the slice.

Yes ladies and gentlemen. I would drive from Boston to Hampton for Cristy’s beach pizza! I am not sure if they even serve anything else, but when you are ordering, take a glance behind the cashier person to see how huge these things are, unless they are making them smaller now. Anyways, back to a slice of heaven. Its awesome. All I need to say. I prefer the edge pieces myself but dudes and dudettes… any flipping slice of Cristy’s pizza will do me just fine. You can order extra cheese, which means they throw a slice of provolone on it, but its really just as delicious with the light sprinkling that comes to you initially. Its good stuff… seriously. Can’t get it anywhere else.

Just so you know, it’s officially called BEACHPIZZA… The strange but wonderful beast that the other reviewer called ‘pizza squares’. They are actually rectangle… LOL(or at least they used to be, and are at the very few other places that serve this rare form of awesome pizza!) There is a place down by the ‘line’(Salisbury/Seabrook), and there are 2 places down Salisbury Beach. And that is it, no one else in the world makes this kind of pizza… Let me try to explain… BEACHPIZZA… Those that are not from around here or have never been here cannot understand… there is nothing like it in any other state, or even any other area of Mass or NH! Beach pizza is made in a big rectangle, kinda of like Sicilian, but only as far as the shape. Its thin in the middle(crispy) and the edges have a nice crust. It is usually only sauced, with a slight sprinkle of cheese. The way you order it is with extra cheese, which is a slice of provolone they throw on b4 heating in the oven. They also usually offer pepperoni, and that’s about it. But trust me, the nice melty provolone will do the trick nicely! OMG my mouth is watering… I do not live in state anymore and I miss the hell out of this type. Every time I am forced to come visit family though, we make a trip down to the beach for a huge box. ps. Do NOTEVER try to call a round pizza Beach Pizza. I don’t care if u purchased it at the beach, it is NOT the same thing(and besides that, all the round ‘pies in this area(Hampton/the line/Salisbury beach) are all sucky and greasy!
