I purchased a 2003 ford ranger from them a month ago. Soon as i left the lot the check engine light came on. They we’re really nice people and told me to come by that they would take care of it. Came by and they said i just needed spark plugs changed but they didn’t have a mechanic so i told them i would just do that on my own. Replaced all spark plugs and coil pack and the truck still ran ruff like the motor didn’t have much compression. So i called them back and they told me once again they didn’t have a mechanic so i took too a mechanic my family has used for years. All the injector seals were shot/​leaking. Had to replace my cams and to find out that the reason for the motor not producing enough horsepower was because my timing chain is shot. $ 1500 to fix that. Had to spend over $ 2000 dollars in the truck after i got it. (I can bet you they tried clearing the codes for the check engine light before i got there to get it running decent enough for me to buy it) Literally sat in the shop from the time it left their lot till i spent all that money from my own pocket to get it out the shop. Motor still says miss fire on cylinders 1 and 5. These people don’t care about their customers like they act. They haven’t once called me back about after constantly calling… I was super nice with them about it also!!! Was hoping they could make it right for me but guess people aren’t cut from the same cloth as they use to be. Watch out! Better bring your own mechanic with you if looking at a vehicle at this dealership. Lord knows how much time you will save and money. No one likes renting a car after purchasing one from an authorized dealer. Legal Scam!!!
