The tacos and burritos here were legit and the hot sauce was awesome. This place is a tiny market with all kinds of goodies that I wish I had in my neighborhood. They have a small outdoor area where we enjoyed our lunch and we took the left overs home and finished the rest of it. The only complaint I had about this place is the food takes a very long time to come out. I think they get so many phone orders and such so it lags behind. With that being said, I would definitely come back to eat here when I’m back in the Hamptons.

So clearly this is no five star, take someone here on a first date kind of joint. That said, I fucking love this place. This is the closest to real Mexican street food I’ve ever had anywhere in New York and to think that I’m right here in The Hamptons sort of blows my mind. The place is kind of a little connivence store with a bunch of junk food(they even have those Japanese peanuts that they sell all over in Mexico), groceries and some produce. Behind the counter is a little window to what looks like the dingiest little kitchen(that’s a plus for me although I know some people might be sketched out by that) where a woman is cooking up the goods. I had a burrito and it was great. Carne Asada was good and it had Oaxacan cheese which seals the deal for me. I only really have one problem with this place and it made me knock it down a star. The packaging is way out of hand. Let me give an example; I ordered a carne asada burrito. I received a plastic bag which contained a styrofoam container that contained a burrito And 3 plastic cups of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. Maybe they can just put the guac and sour cream on the burrito, wrap it in foil and we can call it a deal? I was only taking it 20 feet to a table outside the door. The garbage can is filled with styrofoam from other people who suffered the same overkill as I did. It’s not the end of the world(or maybe it is) and the food is still good but it’s a bit of a turn off and might prevent me from going here sometimes. «¿Para aqui?» Ok, no over packaging. They save money and I save evidence of me eating lunch from floating around in the ocean for eternity. Either way, I said my piece and recommend that you go eat here.

Stopped here for tacos and we’re hoping the reviews would be accurate – it was. A hole in the wall with excellent authentic tacos – bravo! Al pastor were some of the best we’ve had.

Total hole in the wall type joint with amazing pork tacos. I always order them here because they’re so good I never end up trying anything else. Probably the best pork tacos on the East End.

I was definitely impressed. I ordered the Chicken Torta and I really was blown away. The great part was that they added avocado and a good amount of it! I always get disappointed when I order a burrito or a torta at a mexican restaurant and I get little or no avodado/guac(especially if it is a vegetarian burrito! the Horror!) But anyway, the reason why I know this place is good is because I think about it and I plan my day around visiting this little Taco place. Good stuff

If you’ve ever driven on the Montauk Highway between Southampton and Hampton Bays, then you’ve passed this tiny little taco joint. Taqueria Deli Mi Pueblito is basically a little food shop selling a variety of Mexican products and knick knacks. But behind the counter is a small kitchen where a lady whips up tacos, tortas and quesedillas. I ordered three tacos(carne asada and al pastor) and was pleased with the results. They were large but not too big; filled with fresh ingredients; and perfectly spiced. The tortillas were especially tasty. This place is better than any other Mexican food I’ve had in the Southampton area. I’d give it 3.5 stars and definitely hit it again.
