Great food and service ! The only problem that i have with Atown is that I’m afraid to take a shit in the bathroom. Bathroom is completely outdated !

This is a regular place I visit. Spent my entire life just a few miles away. Love the food and the bar. Always a good time going in to get a six pack and while talking with the how owners son.

A-Town: What you see is what you get. Randomly placed in the residential/farm area of Brickstore and Beckleysville, A-Town is the lil old white building with everything from pick-up trucks to lawn mowers in the parking lot. It’s right across the street from a horse farm. This place is a true reflection of the local color. There are separate entrances for the convenience store and the bar. I haven’t been in the bar area yet so the rest of this review is based upon my several visits to the convenience store. The convenience store isn’t the cheapest in the world but it’s fair for being so far off the beaten path. Good selection of beers. Wine isn’t too plentiful in decision-land. I do have to say that the fried chicken I bought the other night for takeaway was delicious. Very happily surprised. Overall, I’d give it a 5 if they’d clean it up just a little bit. I love the clientele; I love the service; I love that it is all local culture.

Great bar/feel good food. You have to love what they serve because the menu never changes. However they did add fried chicken to the menu that I give a 7 out of 10.

Who doesn’t love that little bar. The bathroom may look like a shithole, but its a pretty chill place to get a beer. Foods pretty good too. Also, you can buy cigarettes at the bar. Talk about convenience!
