On my way to the shore, I was craving a gelato so I stopped to give it a try. Had quick service a great tasting gelato. Vanilla ice cream and blueberry water ice! I’ll definitely be stopping back!

My boyfriend and I discovered this gem at the end of summer last year. 64 flavors of soft serve?! Yes please! So we started telling everyone to stop here on their way back to Philly from the shore. So far this summer I had 2 «good» experiences and 3 bad ones. This most recent visit is why they have lost my business, and I’ve passed on the word to the people I referred here. The first incident was when we ordered a small water ice with 2 flavors. It took forever to get the order and we were the only ones there. When the girl finally came to the window she let us know that it’s not possible to fit 2 flavors into a small cup, so she upgraded us to a medium. And we «have already paid, so… [looks pointedly at the tip jar] *ahem* next time you’ll need to order a medium.» Not exactly sure how 2 flavors won’t fit in a cup, especially when we got it the previous week. Ploy for a tip or to make more money off of us? Second incident is really two separate times when placing my order the girl wrote it down wrong. I corrected her both times. But the last time we drove off before I could double check(we were getting harassed by the owner about my small dog– though we were the only people there) and found out that once again I had gotten the wrong ice cream. Third strike — Today when we stopped by again I mentioned having gotten the wrong order last time and how I was disappointed we had already gotten into the expressway when I realized it. All I got was a «wow. That sucks.» Really. No apology or even an offer for something now. Then I placed my order for a sundae, and there seemed to be a conversation going on in the back. She came to the window again and let me know that the soft serve I requested for the sundae has a $ 3 upcharge because it’s flavored and they needed to mix the flavored ones by hand. On a $ 4(very) small sundae. At this point I’m more than annoyed and said«you’re kidding. I have ordered this probably 5 times in the last 2 months and this is the first I’m hearing of it.» Since I still got a blank stare, I paid the nearly $ 8 post-tax for my very small sundae. Then noticed the sign on the wall– 64 flavors of soft serve. Size small $ 3. Regular soft serve size small is $ 2.50. I’m no mathematician, but it sounds like a $ 0.50 upcharge to me? So when she came back to the window with the sundae I mentioned this to her and was told«that’s what the owner told us to do» and received a placid stare that mildly suggested where I could put my new $ 8 sundae. We won’t be back.

This is my third time coming here– love it! This is just down the street from my parents’ house– It’s so classic South Jersey. Another poster put up a ton of pictures already– this place has a ton of character. I also had the orange vanilla swirl, and it was DELICIOUS. I’m struggling with myself over a 2nd serving. I’m extremely jealous since all that’s near my home in PA are chain places like DQ and Friendlys(nasty).

This is a great place to get custard with the kids /family! Heck, even by yourself! They have 24 flavors of custard, as well as quite a few flavors of water ice and other snacks. They are right off of the Black Horse Pike(322) with a nice size parking lot. There are all sorts of neat knick-knacks around the property! They have a small pond with baby koi fish swimming around, lots of flowers and garden gnomes, stuffed monkeys hanging everywhere… To the side is a small sand box /play area for kids with benches and several chairs in the shade. The only thing with the play area is it is right next to 322 — watch your kids. My niece was losing her mind running around having a blast, I can see how a child could accidentally run out into the street. I hope that the staff will actually put up a cheap fence to separate the two, just to keep the kids a little safer. My orange cream swirl custard was insanely delicious. I also tried from my family the pistachio, cotton candy, and German chocolate, all really good. Staff was efficient and friendly, tables were clean, treats were fabulous, and the kid was thoroughly entertained. Still trying to figure out how to convince her to get into the car to leave.
