I needed to sell my 5 piece clear blue Ludwig Vista-​lite. My friend who formerly worked at Stan’s suggested taking my kit over there to at least get an estimate.
The shells and some stands are Ludwig, but I had a lot of Mapex parts mixed with it. For being a mutt kit, Stan himself gave me a great price, and even offered to buy it.
I wound up selling the kit to a friend, but I always mention Stan’s to anyone who doesn’t want endure a car dealership style environment to buy an instrument. Everyone at this store seemed very honest, especially Stan. They are all upfront and sincere.
