Meier’s Landscaping & Lawn Service, Inc.

My neighbor uses Meier’s Landscaping & Lawn Service Inc. and you can see from the picture (s) I posted that the title of the company is a lie. They apparently know little about landscaping, lawns or service (did they get their name right?) When I called Larry Meier this morning about this situation, he tried to pin the blame on me and was unapologetic. In return, I took several pictures and sent them to him so that he has a better view of the situation since I don’t believe he has seen it from beyond his desk and as stated above, no body from Meier’s Landscaping & Lawn Service Inc has knocked on my door although they have «serviced» my neighbor’s lawn several times since misapplying the herbicide to both of our properties.
I don’t use Meier’s Landscaping & Lawn Service Inc and encourage you to do the same.
April 2014-​UPDATE
I added photos of how it looks this year: The violets they were contracted to rid are back, the grass is still dead, and my neighbor is at her wits end since she is getting no response from Larry Meier as to when this will be fixed. She feels they will drop her contract. how’s that for service!!!
July 2014 — UPDATE
Just to be fair, they have brought the lawn back to its original condition, and as you can see from the posted picture. weeds and all.

i had used this company for 1 season of lawnmowing (2010) and they did okay, so i decided to hire them again for the 2011 season. i don’t know if their staff was swapped out, but the 2011 season was just mediocre service — 99% of the time i had grass clippings all over my fence, and my downspouts (2) were broken. they couldn’t really mess up my front yard, so that was what i focused on more.
do NOT sign up for their fertilizer service. DO. NOT! my yard is not the lush green it was when i used a reputable lawn care service, AND i have patches of crab grass everywhere. i knew that if they couldn’t fertilize right in the first place there was no point complaining because how would they fix it? would they send out a «real» service person to take care of my lawn? the price was very cheap, and i have learned my lesson and know why.
i will not be using this company again for any reason. also, if you cancel your lawn service early, and you have a plan that covers fertilzing, you have to state that you want the fertilizing service cancelled too — apparently cancelling lawn service means lawn mowing. fertilzing is a whole different thing and is not covered by your use of the word lawn.
