Howards Tree Trimming & Stump Removal

called howards for an estimate on tree triming. he came out and gave me a price, i told him i also got a price from briggs. he told me how bad briggs was and that they would never show up. i explained what i needed to have done on the trees and he said ok. i told him to do it when i was home and he said yes. he came out the next day when he knew i wasn’t there and did the job. i went to pay him and told him he missed 1 branch. he said he would be out there in 3 days. so i paid him. i also called later and told him he missed another branch. it has been a month and 8 calls later and he has not showed up, they say they will be out to cut it that same day or the next day and never show up or don;t return my calls.
i would not hire him again. my next recourse is to take him to court
