Alpha Storage Hammond offers individually locked self storage units for both residential and commercial customers. We also offer indoor heated storage for cars, boats, or any other vehicle that may need protection from the weather. Our facility is a multi-​story building that uses a freight elevator and complimentary on-​site carts and furniture dollies to assist customers in moving items into their storage units with ease. A gated, fenced area is also available for storing cars, boats, trailers and RV’s outside.

History

Established in 1998.

From making furniture to storing furniture and more in our Hammond, IN location: At Alpha Storage, we pride ourselves in being eco-​friendly as well as one of the first businesses in the Hammond area to get on the Go Green campaign, by converting an existing under-​utilized building into a thriving storage business. In the early 1900’s through the 1970’s, the building was operating as the Metz Furniture Factory, making pianos and furniture. In the year 1998 we purchased the building which was being operated as a moving and storage facility, and began converting it for storage. Alpha Storage opened for business during the conversion of the third and fourth floors into storage units and completed much needed repairs to the roofs and parking areas. Alpha Storage Hammond also offers indoor heated warehouse space for storing cars, boats, RV’s, campers, golf carts, jet skis, and any other vehicle that may need to be stored inside, protected from the weather.
