I went here with my girlfriend and we ordered 3 drinks, a tab of 19 $ — the next day we noticed a 100 $ charge on the card.
Without notifying us beforehand The Cellar puts a $ 100 hold on your card.
When I spoke to the owner Joe, with cowardice he attempted to pass it off onto Visa, and said that all bars do it — to the average person this may be an acceptable answer, but I know otherwise.
Even in speaking to his own employees they admitted he only started doing so recently and I know the business actually determines the hold and not the card company. For a 19 $ charge I feel this is extremely unethical and so did Visa when I contacted them.
Do not use a credit card at this establishment… do not go to this establishment.

Love the outdoor area with the two firepits. While the mixed drinks are not amazing, they’re not horrible either. They had a mechanical bull setup the night that we were here which was a lot of fun. Would recommend this place if you have a large group of friends and plan to sit outdoors to relax and drink beer.
