What is up with the low rating? Seriously? At the time I visited Limoncellos 2, I was a vegetarian, so I was always on the look out for yummy vegetarian meals, which was not always an easy task. I had gotten so many mozzarella sticks and cheese fries that I was entirely tired of them and wanted to try something new. It didn’t help that there were a lot of vegetables that I didn’t like — portobello, eggplant, zucchini, etc. I was perusing their menu online and saw an egg salad sandwich. I decided on an Egg Salad Hoagie with lettuce, onions, black pepper and salt and oil and vinegar dressing. It did not disappoint! The egg salad itself was extremely tasty and the bread was warm and fresh. It was also very filling. Under $ 7 for a 12 inch. Better than anything vegetarian you’ll find at a nasty Subway, that’s for sure. The service was excellent as my food was ready in about ten minutes. I just decided to wait inside the restaurant itself. The man behind the register was very friendly and thanked me for stopping in. I will definitely be coming back here. Don’t listen to the haters, please stop in and judge for yourself. From the looks of their menu, they truly have something for everyone.

This restaurant is over price and under portioned and can be over or under seasoned, depending on the day. Also beware if you order from more than one location with the same phone number. Twice I gave the correct address to where I was but had my food delivered to a different address that they had on file. They already take quite some time to delivery food but that just prolongs the order even more.

My husband ordered the stuffed flounder with crab meat and scallops that is supposed to be in a champagne cream sauce over spinach fettuccine. That’s not what he got. The flounder was over buttered noodles, no cream sauce, and only 2 scallops. This dish is not cheap. I called and spoke to the manager who had a major attitude. All I got was a lousy 20% off my next order. There won’t be a next time. The cook can’t even go by the description of the dish on the menu. How does this place stay in business. This is the second time we’ve had an order messed up. I guess they enjoy losing customers.

Everything we’ve ever ordered from here has been great! The gyros are great, the arabbiata and portefino pastas are delicious!

While i enjoy the food, it is pretty good, I can’t accept what the prices are. On the website, its 9.50 for a pizza and 5.99 for mozzarella sticks… so 15.50. I ordered that with 2 toppings,(all sausage and half bacon half mushroom), and the price was 33.50. Thats 18 dollars for 2 toppings and delivery for those counting. When I called and asked after it was delivered they said it was something like 2.50 for HALF mushrooms and 3.50 for HALF bacon. Thats 6 dollars for 2 half toppings and lets say 3 dollar deliver charge, 9 dollars for sausage on a pizza. Thats almost the same cost of the pizza itself!!! You would think in a town with 15 pizza places they would try to be competitive but apparently they would rather put themselves out of business with outrageous prices. That is disregarding the fact that the mozzarella sticks and pizza were lukewarm at best when we live 3 blocks from the restaurant… Next time im just going to order originals i guess.

I normally experience the same food here, and I love it. I’m not a picky person, however I had a coworker order a steak and no mushrooms. when we received it, the order had something that appeared to be mushrooms, so we called and asked them to change it. the brought another one and verified in that it was actually garlic that we thought was mushrooms. The delivery person literally screamed at us. saying«this isn’t mushrooms its garlic. how old are you. you mean to tell me you don’t know what mushrooms look like?» we were beyond flabbergasted by the way he spoke to her. even one of the patients that was in the waiting room stated«that was rude» when he left. Never again. I used to be a fan, but my biggest pet peeve Is spending money somewhere and not feeling like im getting my bucks worth. In my eyes im doing them a favor, and that kind of behavior towards me is not acceptable.

Ordered here yesterday via the online ordering system. I gave them close to an hour before picking up my food, but when I got there, they hadn’t even started my order. The guy at the counter told me that they usually have issues and to just call next time. Not a huge problem, as it only took about 15 minutes for them to make my order. My big issue was seeing new orders come in(for pizza) and the cashier working on them — in between handling money and touching the phones. Without washing his hands or even using sanitizer. Ewww!!! I feel sorry for whoever got those pizzas. My order came from the back so I chose to tell myself it was cleaner. Whatever, I was hungry: The motz sticks were okay — the marinara sauce was pretty darn decent, but they dumped a bunch of Parmesan cheese on top of the sticks. I really don’t like parm and it was impossible to get off because it melted into the breading. The fried calamari sounded Soo good, but I only ate one bite because it was absolutely soggy. So that was a waste of $ 10. The pizza, however, was really yummy. For $ 12, I got a thin crunchy pizza with spinach, roasted red peppers, and grilled chicken. I won’t be back, just because now I feel like it isn’t a clean place, plus only 1 out of 3 things was decent. Meh. I know I can find better!

I have ordered from here several times since they opened this location. Their other location is in the Lawrence shopping center. I have only ordered pizza and cheese steaks from here so far. I would like a little more cheese on the cheese steak, but I have been spoiled by Sandykes/kelvys/submarias over the past 30 years. Their specialty pizzas are good and better than most in the area. Try their buffalo chicken pizza you will not be disappointed. I would not recommend ever buying a regular pizza and adding toppings as their price for added toppings is extremely high to the point of absurdity. Delivery is quick and my order has always been correct. I order through eat24 as they give me a $ 2 coupon an delivery is only $ 1.

The restaurant is new to this location, having taken over a space occupied by a former pizza restaurant. The décor has not been updated at all, and it’s still a pleasant-enough atmosphere. Two of us went around 7PM on a Sunday and were the only patrons during our entire visit. The menu is very large(perhaps too large as some of the options just seem to say«let’s throw ingredients we already have together and call it a new menu item»). I ordered a turkey burger panini since it sounded interesting. What I received was a small turkey patty much like you’d buy frozen at the grocery store on a large focaccia roll. I am not exaggerating when I say that the patty only filled half of the roll. Condiments included cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Nothing about the presentation indicated«panini» pressed. It tasted like something I’d throw together at home and not like something worth 10 or 12 bucks at a restaurant. The person I was with ordered a pasta dish. I didn’t try it but it appeared fine, though the cook and server came out to ask us if the menu said the item contains sausage because the cook wasn’t sure whether or not to add it(it is included on the menu). I don’t need to go back anytime soon as this area is flooded with pizza restaurants with tighter menus.

The former Pizza Express is now Limoncellos 2. It calls itself, «Italian Grill Restaurant & Pizza,» and its menu is extensive. Perhaps, it is not appropriate to review this new business based on a couple of pizza slices, but as that tends to be my lunch once a week, and I am attempting to sample the same meal at as many places as possible, I see no reason not to make the comparisons. The space is clean and rather crowded with tables, but I was the only customer when I arrived around 1:45 for a late lunch. I was warmly greeted by a young man who seemed to be handling everything in the shop at that time. He directed me to sit anywhere, brought me a menu, described the operation and welcomed me to order anything I desired. He had good sales technique. I went with the deuce of regular pie and a Snapple. The Pizza was nicely thin and hot enough to have the cheese and sauce bubbling out of the oven. Yet, there was little flavor in the slices, and some oil drip. It was average at best. They need to make a better cheese selection, and bring more life to the sauce with pieces of tomato and more spice. Despite the hospitality displayed, the pizza was lackluster. Limoncellos 2 will not be on the shortlist of worthwhile tomato pie stops for the Pizza Train.
