Seemed like a lot of locals here… maybe regulars… not sure. The food was a good value, but not necessarily the best. I had spaghetti and my wife had baked spaghetti. We switched because she thought there was too much cheese on the baked version. Also I was disappointed by the slim selection of beers on draft. With«spirits» in the name I would have thought there would be more beer on tap. They did have a decent selection in bottles. Service was friendly. The atmosphere was a little loud as there was much conversation and about 10 televisions in a fairly small room. Will return, but I was disappointed based on so many 5 star reviews.

As divey as it gets! The pizza is really their best dish in my opinion in all its varieties. Lasagna is also a must! Put this restaurant in a major city and it becomes a hidden gem. Why should Hamilton be any different?! If you haven’t tried Gina’s, get here now! Be ready for all the best of divey restaurant /bars. A Hamilton staple! You will not be disappointed!

Who wants cold, canned Italian sauce? This is the place. This place has goood reviews bc it’s a family owned business with regulars who graduated from the same unimpressive high school, so this is also your place if you covet stares. The pasta was undercooked, meat was flavorless, and the ambiance was unbelievable uncomfortable.

This is a slightly hidden gem – it sits behind a strip mall. Enjoyed an amazing meatball sub with a house salad. Great deal and truly yummy. Service was great – thanks Marie. Coming back to try the gluten free pizza. Well worth a visit.

As a kid growing up in Hamilton, this was a ‘go-to’ place for my dad to grab a carryout. I remember Isgro’s fondly which presents a dilemma. If I stop to eat and it is not as good as what I remember, then what? Well today I took the plunge and dropped in with The BBS for lunch. She has celiac and so as you can imagine, Italian and Gluten Free are few and far between. The BBS ordered the GF pizza with pepper, onion and peperoni. I could rave about the cheese and the toppings balanced perfectly with the herbs… I could describe how the non-flour crust arrived brown and crispy from the wood fire oven, exactly like a pizza should come. But suffice it to say this, The BBS was diagnosed in 2007 with Celiac. Since then, we have tried joints in 13 states and over 50 cities, always on the prowl for pizza the way she remembers it. Only to come home and find it on the west side of Hamilton! Perfect Pizza. Pizza SO good, it does not need a GF apology attached, this is PIZZA! Crusty, flavorful, cheesy… Go! Eat! Enjoy!

Excellent food and service! Lasagna is yummy! They do not make it all the time – call ahead and ask… you can reserve your lasagna – you WILL want to reserve, it goes fast, so dont wait ’til you come cause it might be gone! Pizza is great too!

Gina’s is back open! Happy, happy, happy. This is the best Italian food in the greater Cincinnati area. Great Italian house salad, great garlic bread. I had the lasagne tonight and it was delicious. Gina’s grandparents ran the old Isgro’s restaurant in Hamilton for decades. The food here is the same food — same recipes. Absolutely delicious.
