my grandpa owned Lees Locks in maysville KY when we moved back to Ohio my dad started working for him I was 12 years old when I started learning about locks and picked my first lock. 1995 I started and finished a locksmith course and got hired on as a locksmith in 1996. my first locksmith boss was rough and tough how he was raised. I was young with the added pressure of him and his training motto (I will show you once then you do it) he made it easy not to catch on fast he told me after 6 months working their that he wont fire me he wont give me a raise and that not all people can make it as a locksmith I don’t have it. i was there for 6 more months to take his verbal abuse. I knew I had it inside me to be a locksmith.
