Place has moved about 1 block up the road. No idea if good or not as they were not open on a Thursday in the summer at 4:30, sign said closed til 7:30pm.

Overall, this is what I imagine an ideal small town ice cream place should be. It’s a fair size, has local kiddos working in it, cute dessert-themed window paintings, and amazingly late summer hours for a town where the average establishment closes at 5. My favorite option is a mint chocolate chip milkshake, at a fair price of about $ 3. But for me, the local ice cream shop is more about the experience than the goods alone. This is a great place for making summer memories.

The ice cream was fine, but not extraordinary. The dining area itself is clean, if unremarkable. Service we got was courteous and fast enough, but it was obvious that the young woman working there would much rather have been just about anywhere else. Bottom line: Not a bad place to get some ice cream, but not the kind of place you’d go out of your way for.

Great stop in Hamburg for some yummy ice cream. A brownie sunday with cookie dough ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream & a cherry. Excellent wet walnut sunday. Plus, if you get luck, she’ll have a special dessert … the chocolate spoon cake is heavenly! Thanks for the great treat, my family truly enjoyed it!

There is something delightful about this creamery/dessert bar What are the chances you’ll find yourself in Hamburg? Pennsylvania, that is… Just off Interstate 78 between Allentown and Harrisburg lies ‘historic Hamburg,’ a quaint hamlet from a century ago. The town is easy to just whisk past on 78 without noticing, but if you do stop you must visit this wonderful, old fashioned dessert place. The ice cream is as good as it gets and the service and value are very hard to beat! My dessert was about half what it would cost in North Jersey. And I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but there was something oddly comfortable and homey about the place…
