History
Established in 2009.
Skyline Automotive Inc. was started by Ken Worden in 2009 as a very small repair shop and retail sales dealership with only Ken doing the sales and mechanical work and Dan working as a mechanic. We started this business with very grass roots, word of mouth advertising only and we never wanted to get big or branch off to a dealer group. Just an old school business model with things like they should be… like a hand shake, fair pricing, remembering customers by name, giving honest opinions about customers car repairs and not just selling them everything we can, treating all people the same regardless of sex or race or how much the customer knows about cars (this goes for sales and service). This is how we started, and this is how this business is today. Stop in and see Dan or Ken in the shop (same as it was almost 7 years ago) or see Ken McNeail in the sales department. You will be glad you gave us a chance to earn you business.
Meet the Business Owner
Ken W.
Business Owner
I went to Dunwoody inst. in 1997 and then in Century technical school 1998 for Auto repair and then became an auto mechanic and did that most of my life, spending part of the time in dealerships and some of the time in independent shops as well. I learned a lot of good ideas from technicians and managers in some dealerships and independent shops, and I have also learned a lot of the bad things that a shop can do to their customers and their employees and this made me want to not only be competition to them, but to let the public know all the bad things they were up to. Now I see why this whole industry has a bad stigma attached to it. «Thanks dishonest automotive people everywhere!!» I also did retail auto sales for about a year before deciding to start my own business with the thought that I could do something better, more efficient, cheaper, and most of all… more fun… and without wearing a tie! And now, here I am, still doing what I set out to do every day.
