They have the best food!!! Love this place. Highly recommend it. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant always. If you don’t want to have a long wait so don’t choose Sunday. It’s super crowded on Sunday

Great food, been comming here since 2006, Best Egg Rolls by far, Service was never that great, but the food made up for that. Seems now they have got compittion around them now and there service has improved. I no longer have to send my daughter up there to get a refill.

This place went from 100% Asians to 85% Hispanics, 10% whites/​black and 5% Asian customers. Amazing!!! I’ve never seen anything like this before. Price is really decent, I’m glad Vietnamese food is getting pretty popular around here. Ever since El Rancho opened across the streets, they’ve been getting busier. Their interior has changed since opening~ good business! Food wise, still very good since day one. I recommend the rice plates, stirred fried noodles, stirred fried egg noodles, vermicelli, and the egg rice with Korean BBQ! If you like rolling or eating something like spring rolls, I would also recommend the banh hoi, steamed vermicelli~ overall they’re pretty consistent with the quality of food. I have noticed their customer service kind of went downhill. Especially since all the long time workers have left. Most of their employees now consistent of foreign exchange students so they mess up orders from time to time. That’s about it. The desserts are good too! Sweet soup~ rainbow is good, Thai is good! I love all, even the jelly boba!

Their egg rolls are Bombay! I like their phở #45, their vermicelli is pretty good also. My dad always orders their Thai dessert. Always family Sunday here. Food is quick and service is too. Thank goodness they remodeled, the carpet made me cringe every single time.

This was my first time checking out this place and will be the last time I will coming here. After searching up on Unilocal for a place to eat, finally, my husband and I decided to go here for dinner, and it wasn’t busy night. We got our table pretty fast, the host/​server came took our order food and drink pretty quick, too. Then, we waited and waited for almost half an hour, no drink or appetizer brought out and no sight of our server. Again, it wasn’t a busy night for them, and we have to wait almost 30″ for our drink to come out which is only water, and hot tea. I guess they have to run to the market to buy tea and heck I can’t tell where they got their water from but it took them long enough. Finally our food came out after 45″ of total wait time. I thought to myself after all the time that we have to wait the food must be good but they had to disappoint me with their last strike. The food WAS COLD, DRY and the meat taste OLD, PLAIN. Gosh, I wish could like this place like other Unilocalers do, but TOTALLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE. Btw, our server was disappeared for good. We didn’t see him since he took our order. Should I put up a MISSING sign?

I’ve been coming to this restaurant ever since I was a little girl. Their com tam thit nuong chao Tom (rice with grilled pork and shrimp paste) is what I get every time bc the meat and shrimp paste are perfectly made every time. One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Fort Worth imo.

Inexpensive and a huge variety of foods. Love their combination rice plates and egg rolls. Egg rolls are BOMB!!! Their stir fry with flat noodles is always my go to. Flavorful, lots of meat and veggies. The noodles extra crispy, MMMmmmm

I referred to this restaurant by my neighbor who is Vietnamese and the food was excellent. I actually visited the restaurant two days in a row and was very please with the selections, price, and variety. Great place to visit and eat the BEST Vietnamese cuisine.

This place will always be the best for Vietnamese food! Good portions, never lacks in flavor, always consistent, service is better than what it use to be. I love the shaken beef, Korean bbq, crispy stir fry noodles, grilled pork with rice, basically I love all the dishes here! The eggs rolls are nice and crispy! I think they’re the only place that uses spring roll wrapper instead of the traditional egg roll wrapping.

As good as Vietnamese food gets.
Phở-​tastic! The egg rolls are a must. Chow Fun is awesome as well. They have the most amazing chili paste in a jar on each table that i put on everything. I think it’s homemade because I haven’t seen it anywhere else. Be prepared to wait in line if you come during busy hours

The service is actually good compared to most vietnamese places.
Love their eggrolls — I don’t think you can find authentic eggrolls like this sold anywhere else. It’s made with rice paper instead of the thicker rice flour paper. Fried nice and crispy and comes ready to dip in the fish sauce topped with shredded carrots.
Hubby and I usually order a vermicelli dish with chao tom (shrimp), thit nuong (grilled pork), tau hu ky (bean curd skin with shrimp) and eggrolls.

I’ve been a loyal My Lan customer for many years now. It’s within a fifteen minute drive of my house, service has always been exemplary, and everything I’ve ever tried on the menu has been good. That’s why it absolutely kills me to have to give it one star and say that we will not be returning.
My husband and I stopped in just over an hour ago. They’re usually pretty packed at dinner, but it’s the Friday of Easter weekend so that might account for the smaller than usual crowd. My Lan has been updating as evidenced by the new tile borders along the wall and reupholstered booths as well as new lighting.
We were seated and greeted by our friendly waitress. She had just walked away with our order of the delicate, crisp egg rolls, café su da, and our soups when something on the new wall tile caught our attention simultaneously.
It was a roach.
We exchanged a look of horror and discussed, sotto voce, whether or not we wanted to stay. This was not a waterbug, as are wont to wander in anywhere in North Texas; this was a certified bug of nastiness. And where there’s one, there’s guaranteed to be at least a hundred more. As My Lan has always had impeccable food and service in addition to the staff constantly cleaning every other time we have been, we decided to attribute it to the recent construction and being in a very old building.
Our order arrived and while the egg rolls were excellent as usual, my husband declared his soup to be «meh». One of the great things about phở is that you can customize it however you like. We like ours to be really, really spicy. I pretty much throw in a little of everything and then, depending on how much torment I want to subject my digestive system to, turn it varying shades of red with chili sauce. By the time I get it fixed, it usually takes something pretty spectacular to overcome the flavors.
I got the House Special Thick Noodle soup, as the time I had it before it had been more than pretty good. Crab claws, slices of pork, pork hock, and shrimp swam in a broth with just a hint of tanginess. Or at least that’s what it used to be. This time there was one small crab claw, a good amount of shrimp and pork slices, and one small pork hock. More broth than substance.
It was decent but unremarkable until I got to the hock. There was very little meat on it, which is fine as it’s used mainly for the fatty flavoring. What was a problem was that the pork clinging to it had an iridescent sheen. This is a sign of meat gone bad. Again, I gave My Lan the benefit of the doubt as I thought it may have just been a trick of the light. That is, until I ate a piece of the sliced pork and instead of the meat carrying the flavor of the broth, got the oh so distinctive taste of been-​in-​the-​fridge-​a-​week-​too-​long. Like I said, I make my phở strong so anything that overpowers it has to be pretty stout. It goes without saying I lost my appetite and stopped eating immediately.
I believe My Lan is under new management, or at least has a new chef, because there was a white guy in the kitchen acting as what appeared to be the sole cook. In all the years I have been going, I have never seen anyone of anything other than Asian descent work in this place. Maybe he bought it from the previous owner? I don’t know; I’m just hoping I don’t come down with trichinosis or food poisoning now. Happy Easter everyone; don’t go here, stick with ham and tater salad this weekend and go somewhere else instead.

My parents have been wanting to try this place out and today was the day. We came around noon and the place was packed. The wait wasn’t long so they were able to seat us and take our orders right away.
We had two orders of spring rolls, fried rice, seafood crispy noodles, short ribs over rice, hot soup with snails, and beef with rice.
I asked for no mushroom and veggies in my seafood crispy noodles so I would expect them to at least give me more of the other stuff that came with it but I guess not. Other than that I still enjoyed my food and so did my family.
Our foods didn’t come together all at once but came out one by one instead so that would be a downside about this place for me. The foods took awhile to come out so there was a long wait after each food.

1 only because the way they carmalize the pork chop was really good. The service sucked. No wonder since there were 3 ladies behind the counter all on the phone. As I waited for the first one to get off the phone she put her hand out to take the check then phone rang she answered it. I stood there for 2 minutes and simply said if you don’t get off the phone and cash me out I will think it’s free and walk out. They ignored me I turned to walk and the lady put down the phone.
The rest of the food was just phở or dry phở. Nothing u can’t get at one of the 50 phở places in haltom. Go elsewhere cause the service ducks and the food was all fishy.

Unilocal nation I am excited to tell you that I may have stumbled upon the culinary holy land of Vietnamese food! My roommate brought me out to this restaraunt as a last minute dinner plan. Here’s the thing… My Lan is one of the three (let me repeat… THREE) Vietnamese bistros right next to each other. Right down the street from this place, there is ANOTHER block of Vietnamese restaurants. This is literally the event horizon… the beginning and end of the universe coming together at one focal point… Needless to say, my mind was blown right in front of my face and I was beyond happy.
Here’s the breakdown: This place is amazing. I knew I had been brought to the right place when we stepped through the front door. This place was packed and we were the only non-​Vietnamese customers… a good sign! The staff was very quick in welcoming us and showing us to a table. Our drink and appetizer orders were promptly placed and brought to us. I got a vermicelli bowl the first time and phở the time after (before writing this review, I’d been here multiple times a week… just to make sure this place was legit… bc I care about you).
The food was on point. Not too much fish sauce to drown out the flavor of the entrée. The pork in my vermicelli bowl was grilled to perfection (my favorite part of the bowl) and the eggrolls that came along with it held its crisp throughout the meal yet was not overcooked. The phở can hold its own without adding Hoison or any other condiments. The broth is a bit murky but the flavors are all identifiable.
Prices are on average $ 1 or so cheaper than most phở places I’ve been to (which it should be). Décor is your average run of the mill Asian restaraunt but don’t let that deter you from giving this place a try!

Omg I love this place. I’ve been coming here since I was a young teen. Located in my home town, this is a great place for some authentic Vietnamese food. Don’t come here expecting fancy excellent service!
I’ve been coming here for years, and the food is always up to par. This place can get really busy sometimes, especially at dinner time during the weekend. The service really lacks is to why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars, but it’s the food that brings me back.
On this particular night I went– I get my usual order of the combination chow fun (flat rice noodles). The noodles are always cooked perfectly and delicious. My partner ordered a bowl of beef phở and he enjoyed it. Enough where he didn’t have to add any other seasonings to it, just liked it the way it was served.
We also ordered some egg rolls, but those never came out :(the place was busy — but still I was looking forward to them. Our food came before we ever got our drinks too– but as I said before; this place lacks in the service.

I absolutely don’t understand why this place has such rave reviews. I’m Vietnamese and have eaten at most of the Vietnamese restaurants in Dallas and Austin. This place is absolutely terrible.
After moving to Fort Worth two months ago, I was so excited to try this place, because I really missed vietnamese food. Welp, it was a terrible mistake coming here.
Items ordered
1. Chao tom cuon — It’s #2 on the menu. It came with noodles, vegetables, the fried shrimp paste, and rice paper. First off, for $ 8 I was probably given an equivalence of 4 measly pieces of shrimp. I’ve never been to a Vietnamese restaurant this stingy before. Furthermore, the shrimp paste was tough and greasy. We didn’t even finish the teeny, tiny portion, because it wasn’t even good. It was a terrible start to my meal.
2. Banh hoi with nem nuong and cha gio — it’s steamed vermicelli noodles with vietnamese meatballs and egg rolls. The steamed noodles were standard, no complaints. However the nem nuong (meatballs) were very tough. Then there were the egg rolls. I used make homemade egg rolls with my mom all the time. I know what they’re supposed to taste like. The ones here were so unbelievably greasy. I think they use rice paper wrappers instead. It was literally drenched in oil and absolutely not even a real Vietnamese egg roll.
3. Mi xao thap cam — this was stir fried noodles with a combination of vegetables and meats. Honestly, this isn’t a dish you can mess up. However, we asked that it not be fried, but it still was AND the noodles just tasted plain WEIRD. I don’t know what kind of egg noodles they used, but I just couldn’t eat it. It had such a weird taste to it that I can’t even describe it.
Basically, this restaurant does NOT serve authentic Vietnamese food. I was very unpleasantly surprised and actually upset that I even ate there. I will most definitely not return.
Side note — the one plus about this restaurant was that it didn’t have dirty tasting sink water like most other Asian restaurants.

This is one of my favorite Viet places. We used to eat here every week after church when we lived near the area. Yes, service isn’t as attentive as the «American way,» but this isn’t fast food. It’s been around a long time so it’s not flashy or fancy and the booths have tears in them, but whatevs.
The eggrolls are still my favorite. Very few, if any, make their eggrolls the traditional northern way. It’s so crunchy on the outside but chewy at the same time and the stuffing is good too. I love the plate of veggies they provide with it.
I normally order the hu tieu xao do bien but my Special Friend ordered it this time and my Best Friend ordered hu tieu xao thap cam. We love this dish because the big flat rice noodles are fried crispy on the edges and soft on the inside without being soggy. There’s a lot of sauce and it’s flavorful. There is a lot of veggies and seafood/​meat. They both like to drizzle Sriracha all over and sprinkle with black pepper but I like it the way it is. I think it’s a very good sized portion.
I ordered bun tau hu ky chao tom thit nuong cha gio. The vermicelli is slippery so I have to eat with a fork. I’m an embarrassment to my people because I don’t use chopsticks well. The bean curd is solid. It’s good stuff, and it tastes similar to the shrimp paste, which is also good. I like the shrimp paste wrapped around sugar cane but that’s not how it is here. The grilled pork is flavorful and I like the fatty pieces… haha. And of course… more eggrolls! I usually ask for another bowl of fish sauce because I drown my bun with it. I love fish sauce.
I think they are closed on Wednesdays. I will always come back here when I get a chance.

This place was about 30 minutes from where I was staying in Arlington, but the food was worth the drive! My dad loves taking us here to enjoy their spring rolls aka cha gio. They’re one of the best I’ve ever had. I also got the bun cha gio thit nuong entre and a cup of Che (the pink looking one). Very satisfying!
Only complaint is that their service is slow at times but the food comes out rather quickly. It does get pretty busy on weekends so expect a wait.

Love this restaurant!!! One of the best restaurants in the DF-​Dub!!! Definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant.
The food is amazing here!!! I always end up with a rice plate and the plates here are the best. Everytime I go anywhere to get a rice plate My Lan is the gold standard of them.
The grilled pork is delicious the shrimp paste things to die for!!! Egg rolls so crispy and tasty it’s amazing. They are also the only restaurant that I know of that uses the broken rice for the plates (which is the norm out of the US)
Try the 3 bean dessert under the drinks it’s sweet and refreshing!!!
The service here is great for how long this restaurant has been here it has never dropped off. It’s super busy during the weekends so get there early with a healthy appetite!!!
Prices are fair too no more than 8 – 10 bucks a plate of food and it’s a good size portion.
Every time I go visit DFW I make it a point to come to My Lan at least once!
