History

Established in 1989.

Chapman Propane was started as an business idea between father Edward Chapman, «Bud», and son William Chapman in 1989. Since then, Chapman Propane is still family owned and operated.

Today, Chapman Propane is primarily operated by William’s son Chance Chapman and daughter Kate Chapman-​Trick. Long time employee, Martin Alvarez is our service/​install expert, and has been part of our family for over 25 years. Every employee at Chapman Propane holds a category I certification or higher with the Railroad Commission of Texas. We know our propane!

Meet the Manager

Manager

Chance was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He started filling grill cylinders at age 7, and began learning from his father William Chapman and his grandfather Edward Chapman. Chance currently holds a management level E certification with the Texas Railroad Commission and a category A commercial driver’s license. Chance plans to continue his father’s and grandfather’s legacy as a quality propane provider.

Chance believes in trust above all else. People should be able to trust businesses without feeling like they are being constantly taken advantage of. Quality work for a reasonable price, this is our philosophy at Chapman.
