Calvary Chapel of Fort Worth

History

Established in 1992.

Calvary Chapel of Ft. Worth is a non-​denominational fellowship. It is affiliated with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, California. In the Fort Worth area, Calvary Chapel began March 13, 1992 as a Bible Study in the home of Bill and Becky Quinn.

At its inception, four people came together for fellowship and study in God’s Word. At their second meeting three people received Christ.

On February 21, 1993 Calvary Chapel had its first church service. After just two years, they had outgrown the facility and moved to the present location.

In October 2009 we completed the addition of our 14,000 sq. ft. KiDZ Church.

Calvary Chapel of Fort Worth is a ministry founded on the scripture from 1 Corinthians 13:8, «Love Never Fails.» Pastor Bill received Christ on a Florida beach in 1977. Pastor Bill is Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Fort Worth and is the founder of Love Never Fails International. For most of his 25 plus years in ministry, he has reached out to those in need. Pastor Bill received Christ on a Florida beach in 1977. He attended Calvary Chapel Las Vegas from 1979 until 1984, when he moved to Texas to begin full-​time ministry. In addition to working in the Christian concert industry, this is Pastor Bill’s second church to plant for the Lord. He has traveled abroad and in the United States teaching the Word of God.
