Bobo’s K9 Magic

My wife and I love this place. We’ve been bringing our dogs here for several years. The staff is always kind and very gentle with our dogs. If they have a concern or a question, they call us. They don’t just make rush decisions on their own. They know people’s dogs are a part of their family and they treat them that way. I highly recommend Soap O Suds.

This review is from our visit a while back, probably over a year ago, last fall, maybe? I will never take my dogs back to Soap O’Suds. First problem I had was the general lack of interest shown in the conversation when the owner returned my phone call to schedule an appointment. Not a huge deal, but not a great first impression. When we arrived for our appointment, there were stickers (from the grass) that covered the sidewalk and had been tracked into the building, which got stuck in my dogs’ feet & fur, as well as on my feet, because I was wearing flip-​flops. The owner just dismissed it, did not even apologize. In my opinion, it is the company’s responsibility to clear hazards like that from the entryways of their stores. But, that’s just me… Then, the owner kept referring to my Australian Shepherd as a Border Collie. I KNOW they are very similar breeds, but they are also very distinct breeds, and I would expect a professional groomer to know the difference between the two (especially because I corrected her on it, yet she still continued to refer to my dog as a Border Collie). Final complaint: I got the call to come pick up my dogs, and when I arrived, my Corgi was still wet! She said she was letting her air dry while she took care of my «Border Collie» and then ran out of time to blow dry her! Needless to say, I am very unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and have since located a groomer that meets my standards, and actually engages with my dogs.

Debbie and Ray are great! I have been taking my dogs there for over three years. I have three Miniature Schnauzers and they look pretty shabby sometimes. Debbie is a magician with them. My dogs actaully run to her door when I drop them off and they are always cut and polished and so cute when I pick them back up. The fact that they like coming to see her is saying something in itself. I can’t say enough good things about Soap O Suds!
