Davis Tours & Bus Charter

We have waited for months for a refund from a trip that we did not take. The bus never showed up to pick our scouts up from Seabase. Thankfully Seabase helped them return to the airport. But the fact remains that Davis has the money for a trip they failed to provide. Plus additional money for a side trip that also was not taken. Very disappointed.

Terrible experience. They totally screwed up and our group of scouts and parents ended up in Fort Lauderdale with no hotel reservation. On the way back, our bus died on the freeway and we had to wait over an hour for the rescue bus. The in bus bathroom was locked and unavailable so we had to go on the side of the freeway. Their relationship with tow truck companies are so bad that this was not an option. The bus just needed a belt. This company is a disaster, stay away.

As a group of scouts going from ft lauderdale to Seabase Davis kept us waiting for three hours at the airport then gave us a bus with no working aircon. On the way back the bus did not have enough seats so someone had to sit on the luggage, this bus also had no effective aircon. Think hard before using them.

Our church group used this company for a trip to Orlando and back i personally would not use them again. I am not sure if the bus needed tires of had some major front end problems the bus shook so bad from the vibration you could feel it and hear it, it’s like when your washing machine shakes when your load is unbalanced.
This bus should not have been on the road. The windshield had seven cracks I honestly was concerned for our lives. There is no excuse for this. Total lack of of concern for the safety of passengers.

I just got back from a trip in Miami with Davis Tours. I have never seen such incompetence. Without going into details they screwed up nearly every aspect of our trip. Only diligence on our part kept the trip from turning into a disaster. I will NEVER consider them again.

Had a great experience with this company this past weekend at the Orlando regional! Loved that Peter was very versatile and accommodated our every need. Very affordable too!

While the trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Seabase was good, with a spacious bus, the trip back was terrible. The company had tried to cram too many groups from different places onto one small bus. We had arranged to visit the alligator farm, and had a specific pickup time, but the bus arrived an hour before, with the driver claiming an early pickup time. Of course we were not ready so we left on our proper schedule from Brinton, but the next groups that were picked up at Seabase were then late, and we had to scrub the farm visit to get them to the airport on time. They also had more passengers than the bus could accommodate, so scouts had to sit three to two seats. In addition, either the bus was dangerous, or the driver incompetent, because we swayed all over the lanes on the freeway. I warned our next group of our experience, and they called to reconfirm, which was just as well, because the operators had similarly over scheduled. This time the operator was forced to scramble to recruit another bus operator to take them, so their trip back went as planned. Seems that so long as there is adequate capacity, then it works OK, but they seem to repeatedly try to over schedule their buses. So reconfirm before the trip, and don’t trust them to honor the contract!

We used Davis Tours for our trip from Ft. Lauderdale to Sea Base and return. The bus was clean, comfortable, and always on time. Our driver was courteous and very accommodating. Our trip went just as advertised and was reasonably priced. We will use Davis Tours again.

Arrived late! Hire private van if your troop is small like for the Coral Reed. Investigate other van services before you sign a contract. Ask Seabase desk if there have been problems. And dont think you are relegated to staying at the Bahia Motel as troops head into Miami International and don’t incur motel costs. We asked for refund because they were in breech of contract.

A bunch of friends and I bought a Groupon to Key West and on the way there we noticed a roach, which grossed me out, but didn’t pay much mind to it till about an hour into the trip when we noticed the floor with at least a dozen or more baby roaches roaming around us. When one ended up on my leg that’s when we all had enough. The entire trip our feet were on the seat but then ended up seeing them crawling on the window. It was horrible so as soon as we got to Key West we rented a car and went back to the bus to grab our belongings cause the last thing we wanted was to sleep on the way back to Broward with roaches. I will never take this bus AGAIN. We all took pictures of the roaches as proof and when I called them that week they did nothing about it. Very poor customer service.

Davis Tours has been our bus tour company of choice since the late 90’s. From mini buses to full size cruisers, they always arrive on time, the buses are clean and the drivers are friendly (and speak English). We always recommend Davis Tours to fellow clubs and friends and look forward to our next adventure with them.

I’ve used Davis Tours many times over the years. We have a group that uses their buses for Dolphins games. They have always exceeded our expectations. Their buses are very nice and always clean. Their drivers are really friendly and go above and beyond to help. We always give tip them extra because they do such a great job. I have referred them to many friends over the years and they have all been satisfied as well. Keep up the great work. We are loyal customers for a reason.

I used Davis tours for a trip to the last year and was very impressed with the entire experience. I cant saw enough great things about every member of the Davis Tours Staff. The driver was on time and friendly and everything went according to planned. I spoke directly with Jeff Davis on more than one occasion, he was extremely friendly, informative and accommodating. My group and I had a great time in the keys and didnt have to worry about driving or traffic and just to enjoy the sights and sounds of Key West. We had a great breakfast and arrived home exactly on schedule. More recently I took advantage of a groupon special Davis tours was running, I’m excited to bring a group of girl friends on my next trip to the keys. I am shocked that anyone would be disappointed with this company or With Mr. Davis personally. They have been in business for a long time which tells you something about they run their business and treat their customers.

I have done business with Davis for many years and have found them to be courious, profesiomal and reliable.
