Maya Bat-Ami, PSY.D

Dr. Maya Bat-​Ami is a great psychologist. She’s certified in Imago therapy and is also a certified sex therapist. She’s brilliant! I found her to be extremely knowledgeable about a variety of topics. She’s friendly, always starts your appointment on time, and her office is conveniently located. What more can you ask for, right?
The best thing about Doc Maya is that she gives you the tools, or at least helps you uncover the tools that you probably already have, in order to solve your own problems. Unlike some therapists who only seem interested in draining your wallet for eternity, there is a beginning, middle and end of therapy with Dr. Bat-​Ami. She’s honest and straightforward, gentle and kind, but she doesn’t waste your time by sugarcoating either.
I think she would be a great therapist for someone who’s a first-​timer or reluctant to go to therapy. She makes the whole process not intimidating and life reaffirming. I can’t recommend her enough!
