History

Established in 2014.

When you arrive at Juniper on the Water, a gorgeous revamped restaurant on the Intracoastal in Hallandale, you are warmly greeted by a cheerful hostess at a beautiful authentic butcher-​block table. The entrance features comfortable sofas and chairs, a unique coffee table made out of reclaimed shipping pallets, and a large wine rack. This elegantly casual restaurant has a welcoming Hamptons beach house feel, with wood floors and tabletops, purple and copper accents, and lovely unique sconces and chandeliers. The gorgeous copper-​topped bar has a fun casual atmosphere where you can sip delicious cocktails or domestic and imported beers, or order from their large selection of red, white and rose wines, champagne and sparkling wines. After drinks, the dining room beckons with two walls of floor-​to-​ceiling windows and a beautiful view of the water. Juniper on the Water is the perfect place to bring visiting family members or have a romantic meal.

Business Owner

Owners Scott Swaris, Chris Swaris & Sho Marks with chef Morgan Zorniger wanted to use their vast experience and lessons learned to create a «very comfortable — always at home» place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal — and they’ve succeeded. Their New American– Mediterranean Cuisine menu features traditional soup, salad and Mediterranean appetizers, including hummus, eggplant and tzatziki sauce, grilled prawns, and marinated olives. For dinner, you can enjoy strip steak, a brisket burger, roasted chicken, lamb shank, and Pan Roasted Cedar Plank Salmon, and they’re adding new seafood selections soon. Sides include truffle fries, roasted tricolor carrots and chive mashed potatoes.
